LOL, no worries.......I never bought it for me, I just used the old ladies bike as a test to see how long it could do the job for.

    I contacted Amazon by telephone, and they advised me to use there secure email service to contact the seller. I received a response from the seller today advising me to return the jump starter. They have advised me they will test the product and would give a refund, subject to the P&P they paid when sending the product to me.

    just a question on this, if the goods have only lasted a few months, is it right I should be billed twice for the P&P, as I assume these costs would all be at the seller?

    I have now made some small progress with this product. I have to return it back to the seller in Glasgow, but need some advise on posting. Amazon has advised me to use a private postal service, has anyone got any suggestions or shall I simply send it through Post Office services?

  • If you want a proper jump starter, this takes some beating for value and performance, will start a 3 litre Diesel with a flat battery easily.

    a little pricey though. I have purchased a new one from Lidil. I got one before from the store and it lasted three years, thanks anyway, I just need to get this old one back to the seller

    SoGA make the seller responsible for postage costs re faulty goods;- Part 5A, 48B

    "
    2) If the buyer requires the seller to repair or replace the goods, the seller must-- (a) repair or, as the case may be, replace the goods within a reasonable time but without causing significant inconvenience to the buyer;
    (b) bear any necessary costs incurred in doing so (including in particular the cost of any labour, materials or postage).

    For future reference this type of Q would be better served on the Consumer Rights board ;)
