Android phone with good battery?

Really depends on how far you are willing to tinker with your phone. I am able to get almost 3 days battery from my Desire (E-mail sync every hour, around 5-10 SMS per day and around 10-30 mins of calls using Bluetooth connected to the car).
With all of the crap that was preinstalled by o2, I was lucky to see the second day where the battery was concerned. After rooting and removing all the o2 (and Sony Ericsson) rubbish, 3 days on the battery is now easily achieved.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
He has the Samsung Galaxy s from 3 and it still has the version 2.1 (that's what it came with)
He plays a lot with it ... but not even half a day from one charge seems very bad ...
I will install the app killer and deactivate wi-fi and 3g during the night ... after the first week probably he won't download that many new things so it should be better0 -
Hook it up to Kies, see if the 2.2 update is waiting for it.0

Lot of information regarding battery charging is available lots of it just reprints of old battery technology posts and do not apply to many current phone batterys .
The post from HTC Nexus said use the bump charge method once .
That will have no bearing on the life of a battery if done once as described .

Yes I agree on a one off it wouldn't do any harm, but doing it repeatidly I have been told would make a difference. I think people may be tempted to do this repeatidly to get better battery results.
Can't find the link I was reading it all from but it involved another website which talks in depth about TVs, Mobiles, Contracts to Sky/Virgin..etc just seemed they all made sense to me. Will keep my eyes out for the link!0 -
Well, I have a HTC Hero, a forerunner to the HTC Desire.
I use it for about 2.5hrs per day at work, send maybe 10 texts, have e-mail, facebook and other android applications running non stop, browse the internet maybe 30mins a day, and then run apps like angry birds and the like in the evening. And it lasts one day.
The HTC Desire has a supposed better battery, so that's probably your best bet......0
