A miserable day here today. The carpet fitters have just left after replacing the carpet that got fitted before Xmas that was the wrong size. I'm also trying to sort out the contents of the attic and find some recipes for our second house warming party at the weekend. This is slightly more difficult than last time as one of the people coming is extremely allergic to eggs and all nuts. I'll have to be really careful with the baking to ensure no cross contamination. I've also put a couple of items on freecycle, now to go sort some more out!

Tea tonight is not very OS as it's frozen pizza, Mr S had them buy one get 2 free and tonight is cubs and my quilting class so chaos reigns supreme in our house!
HUGS to all that need them

PS Candy I always say that my house is not a mess - I'm improving my children's immune system! (I'm not suggesting that your house is messy it sounds like your daughter is totally ungrateful and doesn't know how lucky she is to have a doting grandmother to help out, I don't and it can be really hard work at times)

    CG - I'm sure she'll come round...hugs to you xx comforting.gif
DG - Raining really ! Oh I am sorry to hear that (in a sarcastic voice);):D

Okay paid for ironing done, squash, carrott, celery, onion all roasting ready for soup. Need a cuppa and a sit down as i'm feeling a bit queezy...not helped by blooming aunti mabel visiting a sewrage works barf.gif

    So onwards and upwards coffee1.gif

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: My kids adored Come Outside with Auntie Mable and were very interested in the sewage works one too!!! I cant believe that she is still going strong as I remember her 15 years ago - my parents eldest dog is called Pippin after Auntie Mable's as it was DS2's most favourite programme and animal. I think it was his first word - Pippi. Oh the memories xx

Hugs to all of you suffering the side effects of Valentines Day. I had a sad day yesterday as I had a case review and it brings it all home to roost. Still feeling better today and going out for lunch tomorrow with Kids Dad:T:T:T
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Afternoon everyone :)

Spent the morning doing some sewing with my mums expert help and guidance. Bargainbird have you used your sewing machine yet?
Have done nothing else as only just got back and DD required some attention, bless her she was really well behaved this morning.
Makeshift for tea as last week of Autism course tonight.
Not much else to report, it's peeing it down here :( And a bit chilly with it too booooooooo.

Didn't exactly have a terribly romantic evening, DS goes to bed late and if we eat when he's asleep it's too late and if we eat when they kids are still up we don't get any peace  Still maybe one day we'll have some time to ourselves.....

Candygirl - Just remember your DD needs you more than you need her. I know it's hard but she's clearly trying to divide and conquer :( Sad fact is though at the end of the day it's Boo that suffers and considering how your DD likes to have a great deal of babysitting I am not sure your mum will put up with in the long term. Hugs for you, she needs an impartial person to point out she risks losing something she clearly takes for granted.

Julie - hope everything goes well with the Specalist today xx

Sorry completely forgotten everything else :o

Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good afternoon OS or not.

How's 2011 going for you all? It's been a while, but oh my what a few weeks I've had!

After starting my new job at the beginning of Jan they made me (and half of the rest of the company) redundant at the beginning of Feb :( So I'm back on the job hunt at the moment, albeit one that's slightly more urgent than the last!!

On the plus side I've been doing WW since the third week of Jan and have lost 13.5lbs, which I REALLY needed to lose.

Read the very sad news about MSD last night as well, can't believe it, how very sad.

Hope you're all doing well otherwise.

The plus side of being off is I have plenty of time to tend to my OS ways. Unfortunately I've not being doing so thus far :) and the fact that DD is on half term does not help at all! So today I have DS off nursery and we're having a little bit of a chill out day :T and when DS went for his nap I whipped round with a bin bag and filled it up from the downstairs in no time

Have to wash pots for later (alas my dishwasher dream is a little further away given the employment status), and the dinner is a quick beef stew. WM needs re-loading as well. Will pop a loaf in the BM whilst dinner is on the go.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the day

    MMM :)
