    Morning all

Looking quite bright and not too much cloud, could turn out to be a decent day. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock. Got up and did some exercise from my dvd.

Dinner was lovely last night, I did baked mushrooms, (really easy starter, get big flat mushrooms, cut stalk off as near to inside of mushroom as poss, then top with cream cheese (I use garlic and herb), then just cover with breadcrumbs and bake in the oven until the mushrooms are cooked). Main course was beef wellington, roast potatoes with smoked bacon, chentnay (?sp) carrots, broccolli, then choc and ameretto velvets and cream, also bottle of chilled white wine - yummy but will now need to work really hard with the exercise all week!!

DH has a meeting straight after work tonight, and DS1 has Cadets so quick and easy tea needed, possibly be scrambled egg on toast for them and I'll have a jacket pot and salad at some point between being taxi and doing the jobs that need doing.

Working at local office instead of main office today as have to give a witness statement to the Police, after an incident at work last week - the joys of my job! But will be working in an office on my own, quite enjoy the peace and quiet every now and then. I should be back at the other office again tomorrow.

Have menu planned for this week, so need to remember to get food out of freezer tonight for tomorrow night. DS1 finishes school for half term tomorrow as they have closure days Thurs and Fri due to building work.

Need to go and get organised for work, get my hair dry and get some make up on.

Not much else to say really, keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

    Good morning all,

Bramble just read your story, well done:jMy nephew is 21 and has Aspergers and it could have been him you were describing. I wouldn't expect anything less from one of our wonderful Osers:D

Nice evening last night with my DH. He came in with two bunches of flowers for me. He shouldn't have spent the money but they are gorgeous.

Not much on today. I have a couple of parcels to post and will walk over to the post office. Feeling very positive about losing weight and getting healthy. My mum has real problems with athritis and her weight doesn't help and I suddenly realised there is only me that can do anything about it. Have been researching low GI whilst waiting for my book thanks to JuliaGeorgiana.

Tea tonight will be an egg and bacon quiche, no crust, in my new dish so need to find a recipe. Also will make potato pancakes with the leftover mash potato and beans.

Tomorrow planning to make the ribs from Something for the weekend so will need to get supplies, not very OS but everyone fancies them and they will be a nice change.

A bit overcast but at list no rain

    Have a good Tuesday x

Have had a quick blitz of the house and cleaned the kitchen floor(again) washing on the airer as its damp here.

Making fishcakes at work for everyone later - I love HM fishcakes and I'm doing salmon ones with a touch of sweet chilli sauce in them.:)
DH and DS are having fish, new pots and mushy peas.

Off to read the end of yesterday thread now

Julia - good luck with the specialist x

    Good Morning All

JuliaGeorgiana and Julie67 - read threads from yesterday regarding GI, GL diets and guess what I came across in my cupboard Collins gem - GL and The 7-Day GL Diet by Nigel Denby.
They were suggested to me by the Sports Nutritionist at my gym. He really believes that it is the best way to manage your weight.
Will have to have a read and see how I can incorporate the foods into my WW Pro Points plan.
I have Glucose Intolerance and GL diet can help to control this too.
    Good luck with your efforts

After a lovely sunny day here yesterday were back to rain and grey sky. Really need some sunshine to help brighten my days.
Still feeling under the weather with sore throat and ears. Never mind will just have to let the virus take its course.

Leftover stew for dinner and not sure what we`re having for tea. Will have to see what I can find.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi all,

Weather not up to much today, its blooming freezing today, was so bright this morning, but its quite dark again.
We had a nice day yesterday, wandering round looking at plants, OH joked and said so how long with this suurvive for :o.

Yes i know, either i kill plants or they try to do me in. Last year it was either the raspberry canes or a weed (both leaves look very similar). So this time i have gloves!

Oops just noticed the time, better go to my course, if the tutor is in. She was ill last week, poor thing was going dizzy. So i hope she's resting now. Then i'm off to physio to have my leg bent in weird positions, oh they joy!

    Have a good day all!

bramble1 good bit of lateral thinking on your part, well done I bet his Dad was a happy chap.So many people eother ignore the less able amongst us or just look the other way its good to know there are still caring folk around.
Well school run done and I'm in for the rest of the day.I have got my ironing all done and put away for once .I don't mind ironing but for some reason I hate putting it all away.I have a birthday card to make this morning for the 18th family 'do' that I'm off to on Saturday, but I have a few ideas so it shouldn't take too long. Then I will have a rummage around the freezer to see what I can find for dinner tonight, lunch will be soup and some crispbread I think.Breakfast was porridge this morning followed by an orange .Very healthy and hopefully less fattening than what I really fancied which was a 'full english' but hey ho that won't get me looking slinky will it :):)
Hope everyone has a good day, very grey and damp here in Kent so I'm glad I'm staying in today in the warm, its very chilly as well
    Cheers chums

Morning all! Washing mountain steadily shrinking this morning, but this means ironing basket will be full again, Im like you Jackieo, hate putting it away! Last night's snow didn't come to much, but we've had a heavy frost. Window cleaner has just been, and sun is trying to come out, so will need to remove the cats nose prints from the windows at some point. Have a good day, everyone!
