Forget about rewards - just do the right thing and hand it in, someone is probably frantic about losing it. Remember - what goes around comes around....

Not found anything for a while but the thought of reward wouldn't even cross my mind.

I do remember handing some car keys in when I was 9, the next day a bloke came to say thanks and gave me £10.

I think there is actually a company that offers insurance incase you lose your keys or cards.

I can't remember the name of it, but I do think they pay a reward to the finder.

You get fobs for your keys etc, with a phone number to ring if you find them.

BTW I do agree with all the comments on here too.
  • OP, your post makes me sad. :(

However I have advised her to look into the possibility of collecting any rewards she may be entitled to before handing it into the police as they may not advise her of such.

    Entitlement culture NFTW. :(

Is the fact that you are helping a fellow human being not reward enough?

Does the fact that you are returning property that doesn't not belong to you strike you as the fair and right thing?

Not returning it = crime. Do you feel you should be rewarded for not committing a crime?
