That film isn't exactly going to win any BAFTA's. Got bored after about 2 minutes. Boring guy had made £3 on his coins so far.

Anyone who has seen it to the end. Did he collect enough in the end (and sell them) to buy another anarak?

It costs more to make current 1p's and 2p's. And it is not good for the enviroment, all this heating up and stuff.

Don't know why we don't stop producing them, and take them out of legal tender over time...

    WASTE OF SPACE..

There are hundreds of Gold companies who will buy your gold at less than half pure 'commodity' price).

May I set my own personal offer to buy any quantity you care to ship to me. My current 'guaranteed' rates are:

    1p coins - 75 pence per 100
    2p coins - £1.50 per 100

I believe £2 coins will be then next big market. I pay £150 for each 100 of these you ship to me. Guaranteed.

you know what monkey? the more I read your posts the more I am beginning to realise that you are an archetypal sheep incapable of thinking out side the box, stick with your prescibed investments, invest as the gov and city says you should, I'm sure you'll do fine until the point that you lose it all.

    archetypal sheep.

    ar·che·type (ärprime.gifkibreve.gif-timacr.gifplprime.gif)
    n. 1. An original model or type after which other similar things are patterned; a prototype:

sheep (shemacr.gifp) n. pl. sheep 3. a. A person regarded as timid, weak, or submissive.
    b. One who is easily swayed or led.

An Oxymoronic response if ever I saw one!

Except Loughton is already comfortably retired, way ahead of schedule.

    Are you?

He's certainly not in a position where he's so obsessive about money that he's sorting through loose change to identify which penny coins have copper, even though the copper can never be extracted.

Do you SERIOUSLY think the Chinese are going to send tankers over to collect your loose change to melt down into copper?

    Get a grip man.

On the plus side, you could add the profits from this latest enterprise to your stellar £25-£30 trading profits a day trading gold and silver. Carry on like this, and you'll be rich beyond your wildest dreams.
