    Pigpen and Vanilla Coping Vibes
Healing Vibes to all who need them.

Flying wise living room has been kept up with so an easy day flying wise. DGC and DD1 stayed for tea, homemade soup and homemade bread. nom nom
Been to see DMum at care home and found out DDad has been to see her in car :wall:
OH has sorted kitchen after tea. DW on. Kitchen s+s.
Hugs spoons and sticks and extra hugs and coping vibes and healing vibes as they seem to be needed.x

  • Seriously slacking in the flylady department today. Meds wiping me out.
Haunted by necessity to clean oven at all costs by the end of the week:o:D. Must find some oven mate. And an oven liner.

Pigpen - I'd be devastated personally. Emotional fidelity is the baseline of our relationship. It is a proactive choice to behave in a way that cherishes and guards that. That includes not doing things that are seemingly innocent with others of the opposite sex, but have the potential to encourage emotional intimacy to occur.
I really hope you are able to get what you need: you sounds really worn out:(

Poohbear - hope the dr's get to the bottom of things with DS2 soon.

Legally blonde - great post and put it so much better than I could. Similar story.

A few more things taken to the dump and just loaded trolley with books for oxfam tomorrow.
Culled 70% of wardrobe so currently just have 15 items of outer clothing (not including summer things packed away).
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • Hi Everybody

Sorry to hear some of you are havin such a s**t day. Hope things soon sorted?

Not much flying done here. V busy work day but I have tried honest??!!?

Mudders, You need to consider carefully what you want. As your children are older I think it might work. Like seafarers_wife my dad was away from my birth to age 14. When we were young I was frightened of him and didn't remember him sometimes when he came home. But as we got older we loved the extra freedom when it was just Mum and the fact that we had time to spend with him when on leave. I remember he used to write to us individually and I loved his letters.

When DS3 wet away I was upset but then he rang me the same day. And a lot of the time he was away he phoned every day. Communication has changed such a lot since I was a child.

piggers I don't think I can advise you as I have been known to completely misread a very similar situation in the past.:o

Phone hasn't stopped ringing tonight. DU is in hospital too. And DA. It never rains but it pours.

:hello:I'm in again tomorrow, as I now have Wednesday off!! Really looking forward to it.

Already started....I have cleaned my oven - and hob - every day since it arrived! DS2 was very nearly thrown out of the house for leaving melted cheese on the grill pan....

Really tired today, and had the sort of headache that means I couldn't even turn my head. Not a good idea when the bottom set Year 7's are in one of those moods....two of them were running around and jumping when I arrived at the class. Not a problem really -except they were on top of the tables. And no, I wasn't late. It took me 15 minutes, and two other teachers, plus the duty staff to sort them out, and then do the pair speaking activity that I had planned. I feel quite smug that I didn't chicken out and make them copy out of the textbook, although I was sorely tempted. In the long run, making them learn to do a certain type of activity will be better for them. If tough on my nerves.

    :bdaycake:Happy birthday vanilla and thrifty!!!:bdaycake:

poohbear - sending lots of healing vibes for DS, and a hug for you all

Just found out DH could go and work abroad for a year and then come back and we'd be able to pay the mortgage off. I know i'm tired and not been well but i'm thinking money isn't everything but would it be worth it for one year. Brain on overload now. I'm used to him working away Monday to Friday but this would be four months on and then two weeks off. Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Ok, not thinking about it anymore.
money isn't everything, so he needs to do it because he wants to, and you need to think how it will work (particularly if you or one of the children are I'll - I recommend talking to penpen :D) mind you, given the idiot quota among men on the list today it sounds like you should make the most of the opportunity!
