Nope, ALL of them.. some are doubly idiotic to make the other looks less so.. some are better at concealing it than others but essentially if there is idiot behaviour there is a man..:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0

totally agree with thisOH is ok most of the time but there is the odd occasion (every few months) where he does or says something or doesnt do something that makes me wonder if he has any sense at all in his head.

Gona shut myself in the conservatory and do the ironing - take a leaf out of cyclingyorkie's book and get it done! And keep out of his way.

Dippypud - might not be, but a while back I had similar symptoms with seeing millions of perfect circles with a dot in the middle. They told me detaching retina, turns out I had a virus in the membrane that surrounds the eyeball called Pars Planitis. It's apparently quite common but very often misdiagnosed as detaching retina - might be worth mentioning if you get to see someone who know's what they're on about. They treat it symptomatically and it goes by itself
Mines all cleared up now.
Off to Mr T's for us now. That hoobering will have to wait till tomoz"I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. Nothing passive, no being carried off on a white steed, give me my own damn horse and lets ride into the sunset side by side." - Laurell K. Hamilton.0 -

Just found out DH could go and work abroad for a year and then come back and we'd be able to pay the mortgage off. I know i'm tired and not been well but i'm thinking money isn't everything but would it be worth it for one year. Brain on overload now. I'm used to him working away Monday to Friday but this would be four months on and then two weeks off. Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Ok, not thinking about it anymore.
That's worn me out, :rotfl:, so off for a kip!0 -

Mudbath I would consider it seriously, OH works away as you know and it takes some getting used to as you get into your own routine and used to him being away but when he is back for those few months its like we had just started dating again, the magic comes back and its wow, then fades whilst he is away and comes back with a vengance and stronger each time he comes back.
for us if we had the chance i think we would take it as long as he is able to keep in touch via phone/email etc you will be fine, would he be able to fly home in those 2 weeks? would him working away enable you to have a better financial quality of life after hte year is up? would it mean more money could be used on reteirment planning? would it mean a wow family holiday that you wouldnt have taken if you still had the mortgage? thats all things we would be looking at if we were in that position.
the downside and this is from my growing up with a dad that worked away is that when i was young (2 - 8) or so i was wary of dad when he came back, didnt like it when he shouted or told me off and even now a telling off from dad is much worse than a telling off from mum.0 -
Good evening - I've had a pretty carp day, and DH is mending my bike (bless him - one of the definite non-idiots
). I tried, but just made it worse
for those who remember me posting about the young neighbour of my mum's
- not good news. She now has to have radiotherapy, they didn't get it all out...they couldn't and she's only in her early 20s:(:(:(
those of you who pray please add J. to them.
I don;t pray, but she (and you) will be in my thoughts :A

How old are your children? I really struggled with DH away for long periods when mine were little, but now they're older teens, it's not been so bad
Paying off your mortgage in a year will be some achievement, but not at the expense of your relationship and family.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
