Confession time
:o:o
After taking two groups of children in my sons school to the local shop to buy baking ingredients and then doing a new clients nails, I've done .... nothing ...
Well, I say that, I cooked dinner, tidied up the kitchen, loaded the dishwasher and when DS2 dropped the fairy cake he'd made in school and the dog promptly ate it , I spent the best part of the late afternoon making fruit scones with him. He kept on touching them - so they've turned out like biscuits, but he loves them!
Gok starts his new series in a moment - channel 4 for all Gokettes!!! x:T:rotfl::T
Will race round like a mad thing tomorrow and get it all done. Then back to school to help out with the talent show - its teeth gritting stuff!Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
mudbath - I forgot to say - so glad you're on the mend!
As well as having many senior moments, I read the thread from work - daren't post!
By the time I get home, everything has gone from my head.
We now have a leak under the sink. The plumber is here....well trainee plumber - son of our friend. he should be able to sort it
Sadly I can't get to the ironing right now.....
Gok is on to recordYesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift
That's why we call it 'The Present'0 -

You can get them in Mr M's for just under £2Usually hanging on the shelf ends.
Got quite a bit of ironing done which in turn means some of the RoD has been cleared :rotfl:
Sadly it's Monday tomorrow the start of a LONG week for me but then I don't have to go for almost another 2 weeks

Seafarer's wife and PP - thank you for your replies. Our children are 11 and 10. It would make a major, major difference to our lives. My gut feeling is to say go for it. We have a good relationship so I would imagine we could make it work. On the plus side we could pay the mortgage off, I could pay to get the house sorted so he wouldn't have to do all the boring things when he was home, we could have a major holiday and pay for things when they go wrong (still got a dent in my car from some swine driving into it outside the house). Many, many pluses and if it's meant to be then it will happen. Ultimately it's OH's decision but I think i'll support him if he wants to go for it. I think the first step is to apply for it and then wait and see. He can always turn it down. Eeekkk - i'll be on here stressing daily! Lol xx
Maxonian - thank you...I'm with you on the senior moments of the who am I, what am I doing kind at the moment!
Right, definitely time to sleep.

paulies_nixie wrote: »Dippypud - might not be, but a while back I had similar symptoms with seeing millions of perfect circles with a dot in the middle. They told me detaching retina, turns out I had a virus in the membrane that surrounds the eyeball called Pars Planitis. It's apparently quite common but very often misdiagnosed as detaching retina - might be worth mentioning if you get to see someone who know's what they're on about. They treat it symptomatically and it goes by itself
Mines all cleared up now.
Off to Mr T's for us now. That hoobering will have to wait till tomoz
Hiya, he has to wait now for the consultants appt., he's been seen by several of the docs.
They tried the taking a picture of the retina, but it was too foggy looking in, OH says it's the same looking out.:rotfl:
Why couldn'd he tell me, he's had it for 5 days and he's been driving , oowwhhh, I could tear his arm off and hit him with the soggy end.;)
It looks like a picture of a galaxy in negative, with swirls, dark bits and thru it you see what your looking at. Talks have been done here and i made a list of over 20 rules that he has to stick to. He wasn't very happy to hear that i want him to lower the dose of one of his meds (it's way to high) but he is gonna do it (that will start next week). He's also been warned that once one rule is broken he's out, there will be no going back.
Now hopefully he'll pull his finger out because i was very seriously thinking of leaving him. He's to phone breakthur tomorrow and see what he thinks of it. If he decides not to go thats up to him as you say shysarah he has to want it. The CPN will get involved anyway as will his doctor so i'm hoping for really big changes.
3 kids away to cinema and sis/BIL away home, there coming back up friday to stay until probably sunday. So full house this weekend. :rotfl:
