Work done. Don't feel like going for a walk though, as it's almost dark outside0

tooti/LW definitely agree. BD's are never hungry for food so feed yourself. And enjoy. If you are busy doing something else they tend to slink off in disgrace.:T
LW How are you at training Huskies? I've had some success with 'Lassie' so that when I spend too much time on the sofa he comes to check I'm OK. Unfortunately this translates to him arriving by the bed in the morning if I'm not up but 0830. I hate cold noses:pGC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -

had an ok day meeting Mother - at least I have decluttered the last of the Christmas presents and some other things to my DB. It was very wet and miserable and snowing when we were heading home but not too bad.
need to crack on this evening with more ebay stuff
Many thanks to asbo for doing the new flyers.:A

Toots did you know that when the foam dries it's like very dry bread, you can saw it with a bread knife to flatten it off. So don't worry about creating problems, I'm sure the mains installers have had worse, and at least it'll be 'clean' foam. :rotfl:

Ah Dippypud is that what I should be using to fill the holes in my walls? Dry bread? Probably cheaper than filler:)GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

We came home, and went straight out again for dinner to celebrate the rare event of DH being home in daylight. Unfortunately we left a chicken in the kitchen by accident. The scene on our return was painful, but at least the dogs hadnt scared it to death. Tonight I will be scrubbing chicken plop off the breadbin (really).

Has been known the dreaded cheap trick of papier mache fix in a rental property to get the deposite back.
Not that I would say you should, just because you could.:D;)

Shysarah Really glad to hear you had a good weekend. Know the feeling about BD when you have to go home - I haven't got a weekend with DH for months. He's also away with courses etc. What does your OH do to take him away so often?GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

Dippypud doesn't really work as its ours. Sort of. At the moment I'm trying to stop the sleet/snow from flooding the passage. Bad flat roof on the garage.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

Flat roof over 10 yrs old look after it, 15yrs old your living on borrowed time, get it replaced, do your research, get refs etc.
and...
Good Luck
Just had a thought, if you've GOT to replace it, it won't be much more to put a slope on it, ie: pitched roof or half slope IYKWIM.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z # 40 spanner supervisor. No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.Only after the last tree has been cut down. Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Mess
Level One
Sweep, vacuum and mop floors Done by Mr LW
Declutter and wipe worksurfaces Done
Oven and hob cleaning week... and it is level one so none of you can get out of it..Done
Level Two
Wipe table replacing cloth if necessary.. Done
Clear out a cupboard.. the larder unit if you have one or just the general messiness of cupboard.. the one where you stuff all things useless. Done
Wipe and replace small appliances.. Clean one thoroughly! Done
Level Three
Wipe units and large appliances.. don't forget kickboards! Done
Wipe the tops of the wall units.. lining them with old wallpaper or newspaper keeps them clean! Have to get Mr LW to do this, as I can't reach, even with step stool.
Dejunk window sills, dust blinds and wash windows! Windowsill dejunked (only thing on there that shouldn't be was a paintbrush, drying off after being cleaned of varnish); no blind; will do curtains when Mr LW is here to take them down; will also get him to do window, as it's so hard to reach for me (only 5'2” - he's 5'10” and fit as a flea!)
Extras- Wash light shades and clean bulbs Will get Mr LW to do this; kitchen shade is glass, and I don't trust my paws to get it down without dropping it. Dusted as best I can with the duster-onna-stick
- Clean out the smelly fridge Done
- Sort out and restock baking cupboards Done
- Wash the vacuum cleaner innards, noonoo's, brushes and filters.. do not reassemble until completely dry!! Done by Mr LW (he has it to bits after hoovering on Saturdays)
Done all I can sensibly do.:o (What? The Wolf being sensible??):rotfl:
Greenbee thanks for your encouraging words; and good luck tomorrow.
Moam GGGGRRRRRR at hackers!
Triker ooh, ouchy-ouchy-ouch.:( Sounds like a lot worse version of what I did a couple of weeks back. I didn't have blood to mop up though, thankfully. Take care, mate, and I hope the pain has subsided now.LW How are you at training Huskies? I've had some success with 'Lassie' so that when I spend too much time on the sofa he comes to check I'm OK. I think I just have time for my Dr Kawashima's Brain Training, then Mr LW will be home to help me change to go out.:o
See you tomorrow everyone.:beer:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
