    Hello :)

I've managed to keep it all relatively tidy this week, just need to catch up a bit for today and yesterday as I've been feeling absolutely dreadful :(

One thing I didn't get done which I really need to is The Oven - basically, because it scares me! It's the filthiest it's ever been and I just don't know how to get it clean. Also, all the really strong oven cleaners seem to have scary fumes and toxic chemicals and the like :/ Any ideas Flyladies?
I didn't like the idea of toxic stuff, so I did mine slowly wiping the layers of dirt away gradually over a few weeks. Soaking all the removable bits in washing powder or soda crystals in the bath overnight definitely helps. Wiping the inside with vinegar after each use helps too. I used a bicarbonate paste on the inside left overnight a few times too.

I am off to Dublin for the first time this week, looking forward to it (although it is for work and therefore potentially negative)..
I'm in Dublin on march 29th I think so let me know what there is to do that I can fit in on a 20hour work trip.

Made it home, and thanks to a helpful flylady the eBay problem is solved  there really is a flylady for everything! Now I can start being really ruthless!

Sadly I have too many family members to soak anything in the bath.... it's usually got a family member in it!

Have a lovely time all those north of the border. I arrived in Paris. Its COLD. But just enjoyed a glass of wine on the Champs Elysses with my sister. Life is better.

    Glad to hear it! Enjoy!

I've had the most fantastic day today. Leyton Orient drew with Arsenal at Brisbane Road and it was unbelievable. I have an very happy family.

Miss A I hope you have a lovely time with Mum and W. Don't forget to pop in and tell us all the adventures you get up to.

LW Sorry your're having a rough time. Loads of spoons coming your way.

Where's the new thread? I'm a flylady with loads of excited energy to dispense early;).
  • I listened to it on the radio - sounded like a great atmosphere.....

I was really chuffed when Orient scored - it's what the FA Cup is all about ( or should be!)

Guinness Storehouse ( great views from the top and a free Guinness!) or Dublin Castle or the Writers' Museum or shopping or Hard Rock Cafe or Trinity College (good, cheap food in there IIRC) or the Cathedral (where Jonathan Swift was a Dean) or a bus tour or walks (although not sure if they run all year).

Oh, now I want to go back to Dublin!!!
