    I wouldn't know...
visiting it is still on my to-do list though
I wish to visit both Glasgow and Edinburgh...

Me too! Not been further north than Whitby!
Im bored and got nothing to do........ any chance of a sneaky peek of tomorrows list :D

Come and visit? Can't remember the last time I had nothing to do. :o I was bored last Saturday in the pub, though. Karaoke was rubbish (new guy in charge) and too loud to talk to anyone.

ETA Scrounging around for spare spoons and getting ready to send them to LW.

Well worth the effort, really jaw droppingly stunning in places. I have been as far as Inverness (I think - an inland revenue office, somewhere c4 hours in a hire car North of Edinburgh, A9 IIRC - really very mellow and beautiful place) and I used to fly up once a fortnight for work to Edinburgh/Glasgow. Just a shame I have never been for positive, not work related, reasons. I am off to Dublin for the first time this week, looking forward to it (although it is for work and therefore potentially negative).

I need to do some ironing but at least it is just for me as everyone else is off.

  • Hi everybody

Had a nasty migraine so not been on here since Wednesday.

Done some baking today. Planted some bulbs. Emptied bottom tray of my wormery (all on my own and without too much squealing and swearing!! Really don't like worms but think this is a gd idea). Hoovered all through house. Mopped living room. Cooked dinner.

Not bad for a lazy day?!? I can't believe wot a difference this thread makes to my house. I am quite looking forward to tomorrows list. This will only be my 3rd week but I'm addicted. Obsessed even.

C u all soon. Happy cleaning

Thanks, Jinks. I'm usually accompanied by at least one, if not two DSs, though, so a hotel would be easier on you.

Hex, have you read anything by Diana Gabaldon? I can't remember if her books were mentioned before. Many of them are set in Scotland and I love them! Have had the most recent two for a while, but I think I need to re-read the rest first.

Dinner eaten and DH has already gone out. I can feel an early night coming on, to make up for yesterday. I'll tidy the kitchen, grab my note pad for a to-do list (work) and my book - and grow spare hands for wine bottle and glass. Or go twice. The laptop can come, too, so I can have music and look at fred! :D

So we're all going to visit Jinks then. I'm off to have an early night - absolutely shattered. I managed to scald my chest earlier on - it's ok now though.

    Catch you all tomorrow

LW - seems to me that you are perfectly entitled to rant.

From what I have detected in my limited time here it seems to me that you are one amazing lady who achives a massive amount, and frequently puts my winges into perspective with your positive outlook and joy for life. I think there's a stack of spoons being put in your corner - just hope there's enough there to get you through the next few days.
