Weekly Flylady Thread 14th February 2011

Hello
I've managed to keep it all relatively tidy this week, just need to catch up a bit for today and yesterday as I've been feeling absolutely dreadful
One thing I didn't get done which I really need to is The Oven - basically, because it scares me! It's the filthiest it's ever been and I just don't know how to get it clean. Also, all the really strong oven cleaners seem to have scary fumes and toxic chemicals and the likeAny ideas Flyladies?

i used ovenmate - available from lakeland. It's all biodegradeable and has no toxic fumes:):):):)
you do have to be careful with it, but I don't think you can have everything........
And it does the hard work - it gives you gloves and a brush and you apply it to the grot. The idea is the thicker the grot the thicker you brush it on.
You can leave it up to 3 hours and then wipe it all away!
NB You will need a good supply of cloths or kitchen towel to wipe away the grot! In my case there was LOADS!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Cinnamon rolls sound lovely. Do you make them? After watching a baking programme last week I vowed never to make puff pastry.
 at the amount of butter she put in! If I buy it I can at least pretend not to know.
'Fraid not. I have made croissants, but it's a while ago - and as I estimate I need 120 croissants and the same of cinnamon rolls, I've delegated that bit of home baking - as it is I need to make cakes, scones and muffins for the same number, not to mention biscuits too!
I have decluttered my veg rack of manky veg - I did intend making a sort of veggie casserole to use as a base for dinners this week, but it's evolved into soup. Very very nice soup. I am trying to keep away from it - even if there are several pints of it!
I am not here really, I am kicking myself up the proverbials for an HHA - if only to find out where my numbers are for my event!
Have now made my chicken liver cake. I need to cut up my pilchard cake after HHA - not sure what sort an HH that falls under! :rotfl:Work is not my Hobby0 -
