Well made a start on the cleaning.
I am off the week for half term and am determined to get a deep clean done. Was hoping to decorate but just had treatment for carpal tunnel so painting not a good idea says GP.
This morning I tackled the oven.Used the stuff in a bag for all the racks but still struggle with the 'ceiling' as there is an element there. Also did a few kitchen cupboards while waiting for the stuff to work on the oven.Amazing how many mugs and glasses we have!0 -
Greenbee - dress agency? They sell for you and split the proceeds. I used to work round the corner from one and it was always busy.
Trying to catch up on a weeks cleaning in one day inbetween getting the dog to lick the dinner plates for those who are not bothering to help 'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Have started on deep cleaning the dining room today as it always seems to be a mess . The table is never clear - every thing gets put on it when we come in from work ,its a work in progress and will be for some time but I've made a start!
Roast cooking and TD is going on I try not to use it but have socks every where and they are starting to annoy me.
Have a lovely rest of sunday .

Far too much like hard work ... Mind you, if I could find someone local who would eBay for commission I suspect a lot less stuff would go on free cycle or to the charity shop. I just don't have the time to do it myself (or the kind of job that means I know I'll be able to get stuff posted when I need to). There's got to be a gap in the market for this kind of thing (I have some shoes that could go too, and probably a lot more stuff in preparation for moving).
I sold all my ball gowns/cocktail dresses on Ebay and made over £700!! (and I was going to take them to the charity shop) Charity begins at home and it paid a debt off!!!
After daughters antics on Thursday ive not been on the comp that much but I have managed (with the help of the kids) to declutter 9 bin bags of carp from their bedrooms!! Lovely clean and tidy rooms. :jDDs has also gutted the bathroom, hoovered the stairs, swept and mopped the hall and landing and hoovered out my car.
I have managed to get through mount washmore and only have 1 more load left to do which are the curtains from DS2s bedroom. Once they have finished they can get rehung whilst still damp.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Afternoon all,
Well I had my dress fitting this morning. It looks much better now they've taken the length up (that was measured at last fitting). It just needs about half an inch taking in on each side so that it fits better round the bust (small up top), and they need to add the straps to it. Had a bit of a  moment when I found out the box I'll need to take it on the plane as hand luggage costs £54. I paidfor half of it this time as I remembered that I've got a voucher they sent me for £5 at Christmas, so will use that to take the cost down a little bit. I've no idea how much they will charge for the alterations to the dress either, but I've got a month until the next fitting, so hopefully I'll have time to save a little by then (it says on the paperwork up to £150).
Also, apologies to anyone in my email address book, who may have received dodgy emails from me on Friday. I can assure you, it wasn't me who sent them, as I was at work, but they've been sent to my entire address book, so Moon is looking into why the spyware software hasn't stopped this.:o
Since the fitting, I've done the food shop and put it all away, had lunch, and watched a bit of a film.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend,

Afternoon Folks,
I have spent the day filing and decluttering old papers. Have emptied 4 lever arch files and filed 1 box of new stuff. I still haven't decided on a system which will suit me best so have stuck to plastic wallets in L/A files. I have to work out now how many years to keep.0 -
Thank you all for your welcomes and advice. Since it would probably take a week or so to organise the family to help with childcare etc I guess I could start straight away on the smaller daily tasks ;-)
A room at a time does sound far more manageable for the spring clean so a spring-clean-a-room plan would be fab Valli! I might even start right now with Pigpens steps for my living room...
So I don't have to go and shine my sink first then?? ;-)0 -

NNNNNNooooooooooooooooo
Start with level one then once you have mastered these you can progress to the other levels. Dont over do it and just do what your capable of doing. I find that using a timer for 15 minutes helps me to keep focussed on what im doing as I get very easily distracted.
Welcome by the way lol xSealed Pot Challenge member #982
