Stockton on Tees store has lots of packs of Nurofen 16 x liquid capsule packs reduced to 50p, label says short date but the pack I bought expires Oct 2011. I think you're only allowed to buy one or two packs at a time though IIRC. They're on a stand where you queue at the main tills.0

The hair accessories and brushes on clearance have been knocked down to about 75% off now, some really good deals to be had.0

bought pantene shampoo and conditioner as well after i gave up checking acm for shampoo discount.

Just been to Boots... v. productive trip! Got lots of Dove deos for 28p each (enough not to need to buy deo for about 5 years lol), more free lippies and mascaras, the Sanctuary microdermabrasion stuff for £7 with the skinnie AND 4 bottles of Aussie shampoo for £1.52 each!!!! I was able to pay for all but the Sanctuary stuff with points as well yayee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and I still have 4 skinnies to use lol.
Thanks again to all xoxoxo
hi tara
so i'm being thick but how did you get the free mascara's and lippies???? and whats a skinnie?
also how did you manage to buy enough deodrant to last 5yrs??! The machines only let you print off a couple of vouchers at a time.
I borrowed my sisters advantage card-practically begged her as mine has been stuck on the same totally crap offer for the last month even though i've spent a couple of hundred in the sale.
SHE HAD THE DOVE OFFER!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was so funny I never really use th SS tills so got a bit stuck with what to do with the voucher, a male SA came to help me and he was so gobsmacked that I was buying the deodrant for 28p, he went twice to the shelf then to a manger to check, I wished I'd never asked him for help! He let me put them through anyway. Did 4 then went to print off some more and he followed me when I scurried to the tills on the other side of the store, I bought 2 Radox tea infusions as well -the SA there was very nice and put them all through seperately, she was amazed at the price and said she would be checking her own advantage card offers before closing! She wouldn't let me pay with points though.
What i did find at the SS till is that potentially if no-one is watching you could just keep scanning the same coupon for each item purchased? The little hole in the till was full at ours with coupons hanging out, the transaction still goes through whether you post the coupon through the hole or not? has anyone else noticed this and used/tried this without getting into too much trouble.
Also can anyone advise on any more useful shampoo/conditioner offers to use with the vouchers (anyone know how or if the glitch works on 3 for £10 say umbero gianniani), and any good deals to use with the toothpase/mouthwash/toothbrush voucher??
Thanks so much to the original OP, I finally got my dove! I thought I was a money saving queen but you guys are in a whole different league!! lol!GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -
I got loreal shampoo and conditioner for £2.43 with acm voucher and bogof, hair dyes in clearance all reduced to 75p, so one made it into my basket, as well as some hairbands. Had toothpaste one but couldn't see any possible glitchs! Was disappointed no deodorant or bubbles.
Didn't get another skin voucher so have they finished giving them out now?0 -
Hmm - after stocking up on shampoo and conditioner this week i`m tempted to pop to my local boots and try the frizz ease. I`ve never found anything to stop my hair going wavy when its damp. Would be good to try it whilst the offer is on.
On the dove which goes through at 35p can someone tell me which one it is please? Is it roll on or spray?
If it stops snowing i`m off to have a look
Thanks peeps.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
The Dove invisible (no white marks) roll on works out at 28p with the voucher.0

Well I paid a trip last night, and explained the basics that I know of Bootsing to my dad, who now has his own advantage card
I forgot to write hair clips on my list, but I did get the 6 packs of cucumber wipes for £3.97, and also bought 2 packs of the Frizz-Ease 3 day straight for £7.50, and two of the James Brown dry shampoos for £8. Also Dove bodywash was on offer for £1 instead of £2.09. From recommendations on the skinnie voucher thread I bought Time Delay Radiance Booster (think that's the right one anyway!)
I've already used the dry shampoo today (normally I just cover my hair with a baseball cap) and it is amazing! I don't know how I coped without this revelation :A I highly recommend it.
I also have to say that we were served by the loveliest SA ever at Bluewater, I can't say how great she was. My dad was so impressed with her checking if we had any coupons etc. He was also amazed that though we spent about £40 with other non-reduced essentials (tea tree oil has gone up) we had saved £32!!
My dad had no vouchers on the ACM except one for photo frames, and I had the same vouchers I've had since beginning of January I think! No deodorant, shampoo, etc. Just the free nail varnish wys £5 on 17 and others that I really have no need for at all
Thanks to all posters btw for all your information and advice :TNo buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
May INs: 14 UUs/OUTs/GAs: 11
2012 INs: 77 UUs/OUTs/GAs: 91
Savings from UUs: £60.50
