for my MIL we're having a surprise party, that all the family is payinmg towards, so that's her gift frm us.
When it comes to my mum's I think we'll do a spa thing or something like that. I know my mum is they type who doesn't care what it is so long as it doesn't involve a big bash, and just her, her two daughters, and their families. If we didn't have dogs etc, i think we'd try to plan to get away for the night somewhere lovely.:rudolf:0 -
If you like the idea of an album I can recommend this lady .
She made me a A4 size beautiful memory book for my Goddaughter's Christening. It was custom designed with a huge choice of colours, fabrics etc and had an inlay page which she had printed with my niece's picture and a verse I'd done. She makes matching organza bags and tags to go with it and it cost £20 including delivery. She also makes cards that can be matched up with the book.
You could fill this with piccies or any other memories. Or combine with the spa day or meal and she can put all her pics of the day in there to remind her of her day. Everyone could write a special message to her in it.
I'm getting carried away now
BTW I'm not related to the lady who makes these, I just think she's fab :j:smileyhea0 -

How about a professional family photo, with a decent frame?
This way everyone can pay a share, it would be resonably easy to take with you and would be a lovely reminder of the family she has thinking of her back in UK.0
