    Hi all!

Not much to report at the moment, just trying to get to pay day (Monday) when I plan on making my first op.

Had my first eBay disaster this week, greatly underestimated the postage on some (expensive!) cushions and ended up just breaking even on the sale! Disastrous! Oh well, you live and learn!

Celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary yesterday and used vouchers I had been given for my birthday to go out to dinner. A no spend anniversary - a first! Other than that just been keeping my mind off the IVF ( first injection was on Monday).

    Some goals for the weekend:

    - meal plan for the week
    - spend less than £20 at the wedding reception we are going to tonight
    - essential spends only at the supermarket tomorrow - no magazines!
    - organise budget for the month
    - one poll surveys
    - look out a notebook for the spending diary I'm starting the minute I get paid!

Hope everyone has a good weekend, will post again when I make that first op! Xxx

    Hi all,

Today was the day! Made my first ever OP - £250.00 :j. In relation to the size of my mortgage it's not much but we all have to start somewhere!

Other than that I have spreadsheeted (a new word?!!!) my finances to within an inch of their lives, started a spending diary and got the hubby on board. My sis, however, is another challenge! We were both off today and she did everything she could to get me to spend! Did I want to go for lunch? NO!!! Convinced her some of last nights leftovers and an M&S sundae as a wee treat were just as good! Did I want to go to the shops! NO!! Actually I gave in on this one but didn't spend a penny :A

Aims for the rest of this week:

    - 3 NSD's
    - Onepoll surveys
    - Shop around for better gas/electricity deal
    - Packed lunches to work everyday

By the end of the week I may feel like hibernating anyway - due to start my daily course of injections for the IVF anyday now......

    Thanks for reading!

    Juicygirl x
