It was sent to me by a friend that works in the legal profession and I'm waiting for the threats from 1st credit to begin.

This is the 1st letter they will receive from me, and I will wager it will be the last!

I got a letter from these guys today, something about "Act now to maximise your discounted settlement amount".
At the top right there is a ref number and an amount (£244.04)...But I dont owe anyone any money.
I am concerned that they have my address details correct.
    What should I do? Nothing?
  • AND now i received a text from them i didnt give them my number so how did they get it

Just another threat, most probably. If you do get anything from a court, you then get chance to defend.

    What does it say, exactly?
  • It just says we are now taking legal action it is in your best interests to contact us asap as far as i am able to find out this debt is for £117 and it dates back to 1995
