Why won't SD card work in Hifi USB slot?

Oh, I assumed I could use a USB card-reader? The whole point of wanting a Hifi capable of this is that I can take the SD card from my DSi, and play via Hifi, do you not think this is possible?Id say thats your problem
You should be using a standard usb stick (i also assumed you had used the wrong terminology)"Hope for the Best

A quick look for this £60 unit shows no evidence whatsoever that it will play MP4's !, but I can't find the pdf for it.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Err... your new hi-fi plays mp3's ,only mp3's and not mpeg4 files, nor any other non-mp3 file, according to your link.
Try something from !!!!!! and see if that plays.0 -

Your Hifi isn't a PC so while the PC can happily understand all sorts of different file formats, the Hifi is very limited in what it can understand and read. Then it may not work using the USB to SD adaptor even with files that are compatible with it so bare that in mind.
