No back wipers on Honda Civic

Sponge? Coat sleeve? The little wiper attachment that most ice scrapers have?
Usually if a car doesn't have a back wiper it's because the shape is such that it doesn't pick up much rain.
Also don't use your wipers to remove snow in the morning, that's a good way to wear out your wiper motors. That stuff is heavy.0 -
I think we managed to get around in cars before rear wipers were introduced.Light blue touchpaper and stand well back !0

People always seem puzzled that my saloon car has a rear wiper. Is that uncommon or something? My last saloon car (Subaru Legacy B4) had one as well.
Is it not even an option on the Civic?0 -
I do like a rear wiper.0

When the car is parked, you can wipe snow or water/rain with sponge coat sleeve, little wiper attachment etc...
When traveling, you can't wipe snow or rain with a sponge, little wiper attachment etc... This is what I'm on about.0 -

at a car auction we used years ago we would always put a pack of 'wet wipes' on the back seat, the auctioneer loved saying'
' sold with the benefit of a rear wash wipe':rotfl:IMOJACAR

I've got an Audi A2 that also has no rear wiper. I think the window is meant to be coated in some water repellant type stuff, like Rain X or something. I've never really missed having a rear wiper, although in the winter when the window gets coated in salt and muck off the road I do sometimes have to wipe it over so I can see out when I am reversing. It tends to be only the lower section of the window that gets dirty.0

when your driving you should be looking forward through the windscreen and using your wing mirrors to check all around you. set them up properly and you won't need a rear view mirror....work permit granted!0
