Do you have signal, or just 'Emergency calls only'
You can make sure it's picking up the network by going to Settings => Wireless & networks => Mobile network => Network operators0 -
just tried that, found it online but go to 'select automatically' it looks like its connecting, then says 'your sim card does not allow a connection to this network0
-
if i click on O2 in same screen, it says the same message0
-
Interesting, does it connect OK using the Orange SIM it came with?0
-
just powered it down and back up Rusty (it was displaying a 'No SIM card' error in top right hand corner, powered up and now lets me dial out, my O2 sim is pretty old so maybe that0
-
Ah yes, might be worth getting a new one then, as replacements are free.0
-
thanks again Rusty, how do i stop it 'auto-locking' the keypad so quickly? and is only was to unlock it by pressing the power button quicky?0
-
Settings > Sound & Display Settings > Screen timeout.
Menu and back button also appear to unlock if quick enough!0 -
When i type in an address on the toolbar (google homepage set), it goes to an error screen saying
'Web page not available'
the page may be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Here are some suggestions:
check to make sure that your device has a signal and data connection
reload this web page later
view a cached copy of the web page with google
It shows the above message, what am i doing worng? or what settings do i need to change please?0 -
You need to type in the O2 internet settings. You can get them from the mobileguide on the O2 site (choose a different Android handset).By the way its very poor form to go back and edit your posts as it makes the thread very difficult to follow.0
