Are you kidding me?! You would actually email richard branson because a router has been posted to an old address . Think thats a bit ott.
Id give vigin customer service a call and ask them to pick it up.
Really calling Mr Branson!!??
Branson won't read the email. He has a PA and admin staff beneath him reading his emails. He will only be passed business-critical emails, which this one clearly isn't. This will instead be passed to 2nd-line customer support, who will then deal with the issue.
I sent him an email two years ago regarding my VM tariff price. Email went to Customer Services Exec Team (their words not mine !) and hey presto, 3 days later I got an offer for a free upgrade and free installation for V+.
Just wonderful.:)
OP...Up to you what you do but don't pay anything to sort out VM's problems.0 -
OP...Forgot to mention. If you decide to phone VM customer services, you will probably be passed to an Indian Call Centre and to be brutally honest, they tend to be dreadful. If you decide to phone VM, I suggest that you politely request the Indian person to pass you call over to an English person.
I do this everytime for any call to any (including VM) Indian call centre and I always get my call passed without any probs.
My advice is to email rather than call !
Good luck.0 -
