FairFX have now introduced a minimum top-up amount, not so great if you need to transfer over a small amount for a weekend away, or a little bit to get you by on the last day. Will be moving our funds to Caxton.

The minimum is only 10 Eur. At least, it is on mine, I topped up this morning.

    Caxton have minimum load amounts - £100, €150, or $200 http://www.caxtonfxcard.com/feesncharges.asp?dist=CAXTGENL

Yes, the minimum loads are the only thing which annoys me about the Caxton cards, especially if you only want to top up a little for a few days away or to add enough to make it to the end of your trip.

I like that you can load the Caxton by text!

What are the charges for taking any left-over money out once you are back home?

See "Q: Can I have the balance on my Caxton card refunded to me?"

    and

Essentially, £1.50 flat fee if you contact them by email for it to be refunded to the debit card which was used to load it - though it's not clear if the same exchange rate applies or it is done at the current rate.

Or withdraw the money from an ATM - but get hit by transaction fess.
