Caxonfx or Fairfx Card!!!!

I'm thinking of getting one of these euro prepaid cards and just wondering what the best card for me will be, it will just be for use in eurozones for ATM withdrawls and possibily card payments
As far as I can see they seem much muchness

Fairfx - 1.5 ATM fee but better slightly exchange rate
Caxonfx - no ATM fees

Can anyone share any experiences of either of these cards and what seems to be the better out of the 2

Do a search on this forum, plenty of comments. I use Caxton.

Did a bit of research and plumped for Caxton.Will use it for the first time next month.Will let you know how it goes

How long does it take to receive a Caxton Euro card?

I'm going away soon and have been meaning to get one of these to replace my Nationwide debit card but I think I may have left it too late. Failing that I may just have to get a TravelEx card in person.

I'm also considering which card to get. After reading up on Halifax Clarity (yet another credit card! - Not sure I would pass the credit check) - I much prefer the idea of pre-loading a card with cash instead. Bit like saving it up before I go on holiday really.

Anyway, so I also was veering towards Caxton but thought I would also check on here to see what other people are saying. Yes I too thought that although Caxton's exchange rate is "generally" poorer than FairFX - might this be outweighed by the fact that there are no ATM withdrawal charges abroad? (I will be visiting the USA).

Exchange rates as of now!...
Caxton: 1.5902 £100 = $159
FairFX: 1.6005 £100 = $160

Not much in it really! And I know I will be withdrawing a fair few times from ATMs while I'm on holiday...

Think I'm choosing Caxton.

OK, we'll I'm leaving next Saturday and just ordered one today. So if it comes in time then great, if not then it will teach me for procrastinating so much and it will be handy for next time.

CaxtonFX and FairFX have free top up online with a debit card, but I assume the debit card provider still charges?

There are debit card providers who don't charge - there's a list buried on the travelmoney maximiser page.

And I think you can top up by bank transfer as well
