Have you tried contacting the seller first to sort out any issues? sorry to ask if you already have.
If so, after logging in, on your account page ,look across the top towards the right-Resolution Centre. Click on that and click dispute transaction, input or choose transaction id and state reason.:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -

Yes i have sent about 5 messages he is just ignoring me he still as items for sale so he cannot be not receiving them or seeing them when i sent him messages before he answered straight away so his messages go to his phone
he advertised curtains which i bought at £65 and they are no where near the size he advertised he answered my first message and said he was sorry but do they still fit when i told him no they were to small since then he is not replying
i dont want to report it but have no choice or i could send him a message saying im going to take it further0 -
As has been said, it is not clear if you sent the payment as a gift. If you did, you will not be able to do a chargeback.
On your other thread, I suggested you ring eBay and explain that the seller told you to send the money before the listing ended. Have you spoken with them?0 -
Log into your paypal account > click on top where it says resolution centre > top left hand there is a box that says
Report a problem- Didn't receive your item?
- Received the wrong item?
- Don't recognise a payment?
Click on that and you get the choice of disputes, choose the first one which is either INR or SNAD and then it asks for the tranasaction number. Put that in and open your dispute.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. thank you i have just phoned e bay and told them everything that i paid through my paypal like the seller said otherwise he would not take it off the auction thay said they would be esculating it and it has to be approved i told them seller is ignoring my messages im sending so i just have to wait but i dont know how long
i think i paid through paypal as goods i hope i get a refund but how does it work if seller ignores ebay or paypal messages like he has me who refunds into my account then do i post the curtains back to the seller
thank you0 -
So technically you have bought the curtains outside of ebay?
It doesn't matter as buyers still have full paypal protection as long as they bought 'goods' and didn't send the money as a gift.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I can't see why you don't just try a chargeback before you run out of time? Paypal have a horrible habit of telling you exactly what you want to hear on the phone just to get you to go away and their 'advice' should never be relied on.
However it is your choice, but personally I would be going for theguaranteed route.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
