Hi
I started a similar thread before xmas asking for suggestions and the two shares which i was asking about RRL and SXX have been doing very well.
So i have sold my RBS and looking to invest elsewhere and was wondering on any ideas? Happy to put it into FTSE 100 or AIM.
Looking at Resolution (RSL) the buyout ftse100 firm but not too sure about their business model.

I will be buying some RBS and hanging on to them for 4-5 years.
I bought loads of Lloyds 2 years ago and am gonna hang on to them for another 2-3 years. I have just started the portfolio builder on Interactive Investor, price seems fantastic. How best to start reasearch for shares etc, as at the minute the only sectors i know anytrhing about are Banks and Supermarkets?

My buy recommendations are
VOG very cheap at present and there could be a big thing coming..
FWEB very good company thats on the move and has international bases
FTO another small oil co...they are not making any more of it!
NFDS on the verge of a takeover and will fly. They make the fast foods that lazy ~Brits just love
RBS cheap and bound to fly again in the long term considering the profits made by shafting the publicFeudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
I'm keeping an eye on CEY. If things start to get back to normal in Egypt I can see a massive shoot north. There has already been a bit of recovering, but how permanent that is depends on what the army do next (they've said that they will step down to a democratically elected government); their next few actions will be hawkishly watched and judged.
I'm interested to hear what everyone else thinks about this. It's an interesting financial and political situation.0 -
I'm currently looking at zhaikmunai they have gone up over a $1 since I started tracking them0

Solid company. Need to continue to demonstrate they can deliver to plan. Expecting 250k+ Oz this year. Looking for SP of 250p.Pocketsaver wrote: »I'm interested to hear what everyone else thinks about this. It's an interesting financial and political situation.
EDIT: I've got a sizeable exposure to CEY (25%) of my portfolio and it hurt when the SP collapsed but I bought more (hey ho). Will look to lighten up as the SP rises (but not until 200p ish)Personal Responsibility - Sad but True
Sometimes.... I am like a dog with a bone0
