if she ever had a fave pet when she was a child try and get a picture of it and look through local paper/yellow pages for an artist who might be able to do a watercolour or a pastel drawing of it. then you can frame it.0

Last year I had a handbag made by Macgregor and Michaels or Tetbury, fabulous and she loves it top idea!
Louisa she does use the list book thang a lot so maybe something along those lines might work thank you good idea
Ahunts (some name girl!) that is a truly special idea I've found a place in London that do crazy albums http://www.seraoflondon.com/files/html/main_prodx.asp?id=12&designer=Sera%27s%20foxy%20memoir%20albums
Might see if I can make something myself or adapt or even find out how much these cost, top idea!
Debbie_s she already has a fist full or posh pens and isn't a big fan of teddy bears thanks anyway.

What I am planning to do for my wife this year is a personalised Advent calendar. We have ones for the children, which we put chocolates or sweets in each pocket, and with a spare one, I am planning to do one for my better half. I will be putting little gifts each day that I know she will enjoy, such as a DVD, bath bomb, mini perfume, sweets, vouchers, poems etc. Trying not to spend too much, but the surprise of it should make it special.
I would welcome any further suggestions for small gifts though, as I am still in need of about 10 more!!
Hope this helps, and thanks for any suggestions in anticipation!0 -

If she really loves xmas then maybe start collecting the swarovski xmas stars (to hang on the tree), they do a new one every year and they are pretty. My OH is collecting them for me because I love xmas and I wouldnt buy them for myself as they are pretty expensive. Just a thought anyway!

Have you tried looking in TKMaxx? My local have a good range of lovely photo albums, much like the ones you linked to. They also have leather gloves which someone else mentionned, and they sell beauty stuff/handbags/pashmias etc etc at fab prices. It might take a bit of a dig but I'd definitely recommend it.0
