I was visiting relatives in Manchester yesterday and nipped into the tesco extra in droyslden I think somewhere on Hyde Rd had tons of the red stripy ones in

Afraid I didn't like the look of them so didn't get any, all yours!

Yes amazing I know I didn't buy something just because it was cheap!!!!

Yes, I'm sure I have longer shopping lists than I did before I started using this site every da. Fortunately I can't always find the things others do, so I'm still in control of my storage (thank God for basement stairs) and pantry. OH just muttered 'No you're not'. Let's put it like this, I'm starting to worry because I'm down to my last 13 tins of Branston beans.

Been to Tesco again today and picked up the last two 10p mugs - vertical stripe ones this time. The 10p SELs had been removed, so that may well be the end of them (for me anyway).

However, they also had some of these for £1.25 - there was not SEL, so no idea what original price would have been (I would guess at £5, making it 75% off), but a nice little bargain gift. It looks like it might be left over Christmas gift stock, but they had been put with the mugs, on the shelf just under the mug hanging bit.



It's a red mug with white spots containing a sachet of cappuccino powder as well as a mini grater and two mini bars of chocolate - presumably you grate the chocolate over the cappuccino.

There's still a couple of pink spotty ones in Middleton and loads of neutral sailor ones in Failsworth if you're interested

I've just been in local store and have got 4 of the red/pink striped ones for 10p each. Great fro work as we're always running short of mugs.
