Thanks for the post:T:T:TI have tried looking on fb and found the philadelphia cream cheese page, but cannot see the local heroes tab or any coupons and I clicked on the like. Help needed please.
I bought Philly y'day not knowing it was cheaper at A's but I said to myself I bet it is(first sign of madness I know!) Mad - do you talk to yourself :rotfl:
I have used coupons for Iams, McCain, Appletiser, Fairy gel, etc. but couldn't find the Loyd Grossman Chilli Con Carne at my store (only a few pence anyway) while doing DTD.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
I have a few receipts over the last couple of weeks definatly not shopped in dtd mode in fact most have 1/2 price offers or bogof but is it worth me putting these in price checker just to practice the method so I am ready for my real shop later & u never know.
Also BLUEWKD you mention not using clubcard our credit card which we use for everything also has a clubcard no on we also have seperate clubcards each when I normally spend in tesco we use our clubcard then pay with the credit card as balances on different accts then when we get fuel we just use creditcard as still get 1pt for £1 (thats when DH doesn't forget and scans the clubcard as that was what we used to do). So just trying to get head round how to pay as we do all spending on CC then pay off each month. Is the reason for not using clubcard because of the £100 limit & makes it more traceable also our clubcard accounts are joined.0 -
Morning all
I'm sorry to be lazy, but just in case I get time/energy on my way home from visiting tonight, can anyone tell me if the Hardys crest shiraz is working ok on the dtd please?
As for using mocs on dtd, you'd need to check the prices out, but last week I used the Sharwoods 50p curry/chinese sauce moc from greatlittleideas on a biryani with tomato, and cumin and seem to remember that gave me a slight profit. So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

Yes the reason I don't use the clubcard is so that it isn't traceable and then you can get more than the £100 limit. It is very easy to reach £100, especially if buying wine. As prev mentioned I think the limit is £100 before the dtd voucher, so £200 in dtd vouchers though. I decided in the beginning that it would be more profitable to pay cash and have no trace so being able to go over the £100/200 limit than the couple of hundred points.
I do think that eventually Tesco will make it a condition of using the voucher that you have to use a clubcard, but hopefully not for a while.Unintended_Muse wrote: »Morning all

I bought the Hardys crest shiraz on sat night and got dtd for it yesterday. It is still £10.49 in Tesco and £4.78 in Asda according to my supermarket. I'm going to be getting a few today.
I hope things are going well with your OH UM.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Definately a good memory trigger but with prices changing all the time not a source to be relied upon.0 -
Blimey, not as easy as you think...we love Mango chutney with our curries,:D checked out the Sharwoods range and thought, that's good cheaper at Asda...but checked the sizes and they are different..they look the same but they're not the same....can't believe they would have it in different sizes for different stores, Asda do not have 227gm or 530gm, theirs are 360gm and are only £1...Tesco 227gm is £1.49:eek:....more to this DTD than i first thought...was going fishing but hubby did not sleep too well , so I'm going to try again at T's:D....see what you've done to us Blue...you little tinker....got us all at it now....thank you !!
Its hard work Bully to get your head round it all at first but when everything clicks into place..............:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
