Just a word of warning re the T's dtd to all peeps planning to maximise their shopping. Lots of chat on another thread but thought I would post here as well.
If you do a 'mixed' shop be careful as if you buy products to make the most of dtd and also your 'normal' shopping anything that you buy that is price matched with A's and is cheaper at T's will be deducted from your profit. So therefore I would suggest doing seperate shopping for your normal stuff (or send OH/Child/brother/sister)lol through till with that little lot and then you will hopefully just benefit from the dtd stuff.
Hope that makes sense:D:D Only realised to my cost last night when checking my bill. Anybody else noticed?0 -
I haven't done a 'normal' shop at T's for over a week TS - will probably be going with OH on Tuesday night so will probably avoid the DTD stuff because it just shows what T's don't think we know - T's is more expensive than A'sIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0

Yes I agree with you Jeferey - on the whole but I put some normal shopping in with my dtd and on checking last night there was 3 items which were cheaper at T's so the difference was deducted from my profit!! lol Imagine - the cheek of it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Morning all won £5 shakin that tree this morning on my oh email address though, not won anything under mine yet.0

Don't forget, do not to put reduced items with your dtd shopping because Tesco compare them with the full asda price, so you will loose out big time. I always do 2 shops, one dtd and one whatever I want/normal shop. Anything I am not sure about the price of goes on the normal shop. I've never had a problem with any sa doing this.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Morning all, morning Blue
yes, this happened to me the first time I did it. I had got a chicken reduced from around £4.50 to £1.25, so you can imagine my comments when I realised how much the chicken had really cost me. lol
Oh well, going to prepare a new list for today:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morning everyone:)
Going to try this dtd but confused as where to start & what you do with the receipt. So basically do I look at Asda see whats on offer there then look to see what Tesco are selling it at avoid offers like BOGOF or just buy one of them don't buy other shopping with it, then where do I put receipt details as nothing marked on receipts. I am going to attempt a £30 shop so I can use the co op CS voucher. Where is the best place to look now for an up to date list of peoples finds (exc pts). I think why I am having problem I am so conditioned to look for the cheapest price work out best value but trying to do this completely goes against the grain as looking for the higher priced stuff I think I am seriously loosing the plot. LOL0 -
Sorry think I have partly answered my own ? just seen a tesco/asda pricechecker thread on Quick Grabbit which having 214 pages LOL went to last page and a link to a no chat just finds so now going to read that before I start.
I have been so behind the last couple of weeks normally up to date with Quick Grabbit etc but haven't had a chance lately only really had time for this thread & comps & never got comps done either for the last two days oh except velvet but unfortunately only squirrels.0 -

You could re read my prev posts about dtd. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=42056750&postcount=3082 The price checker link on there is now where you put your receipt details in. The Tesco price checker isn't working at the moment. There is a list here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3122572 but Tesco and asda are changing their prices all the time, so if you have a price scanner instore use that to check them. I do a shopping list on my supermarket for what dtd items I want to buy and print it out with it versus asda and then I can check what the actual prices should be so don't get caught out if tesco have changed their prices between looking at home and being in the store.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
