    Afternoon everyone...just,

Still cold here but the sun has been poking through the last couple of days. Also spotted flower buds pushing up :j:j YAY,spring is on its way!! This makes me happy!!

Sorry to hear so many are unwell...Big hugs to you all :grouphug: hope you feel better very soon.

Good week at work so far, have been shown lots of new and exciting things. Settling in quite well and they seem so so lovely.

Dinner tonight is battered fish with chips and broccoli. Living out of the freezer until i can do a food shop need to wait for rent to go out first-not long now. Food bill has crept up slightly due to both DD and myself taking pack lunch and she seems to be going through a growth spurt again...always eating!! Thankfully shes reaching for the fruit and veggie sticks.

Think i've gotten on top of the housework, well actually i've gotten on top of what HAS to be done. Its just about acceptable for visitors. Anyone has a problem its their problem! We are clean and tidy...you dont have look under beds or in cupboards :rotfl:

    Right,dinner should be ready :D:D
Have lovely evenings all. May get on later for a lurk,if not see you tomorrow xx

Check out my FB for a song I used to dance to at my fave nightclub. I dare not put a link on here because I think I may shock the sweet ladies and gents of the OS board LOL.

I think we should have a music day every day. Am lovin' the trip down memory lane.

NPM - Michael Hutchence. What a waste :( My dad once had free tickets to see INXS at NEC and didn't tell me because he thought I wouldn't want to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Evening All, loving the music!

Busy cleaning here (skirting boards too!) have Cousin and her husband coming to stay tomorrow for the weekend. Should be good, we are going to Murrayfield to watch Scotland vs Wales (they are the welsh side). Funny really as Cousin and I are both English, she has lived in Wales for years and I in Scotland for as long!

Half Term has started here but we have an in-service day tomorrow (it will be boring as usual). Still, will make a bit of a change I suppose but we have to go to a different school.

Got some news for you - I am going to be a Granny!!. DS1 who got engaged in Oz at christmas gave me the news the other day. Although not planned, I am delighted, they are very happy together and I really like his OH.

Hope you are all feeling better and the fiddling with parts has passed. I think DD has something similar to you JackieG as she has been back to hospital in Oz and they have found out that one of her ovaries is very enlarged but haven't said why. Need to get there soon to find out what's going on.

Take care, have a good evening. XX

  • Congrats Camelot, what fab. news!!!!! Hope everything is OK with your DD too, won't be long now til you get there. xxx

NPM Michael Hutchence was my favourite man until he went with Paula Yates, that put me right off him, don't like men with dodgy taste. I was heartbroken when he died. I saw them live in July (?) 1993 in Munich. He was incredible, and I cried like one of those Beatles fans from the sixties :o

I love youtube for music too Bitsy, I have had a great time upstairs cleaning and listening to the music, I had fifteen tabs open at one point :o
