e2save advice please - phone no show

Hi,

I ordered a Galaxy S refurb from e2save on 30th January. It still hasn't arrived. At various times I've been told it's been despatched, they're looking into it etc. etc.

I've now had paperwork from Orange stating my contract started on 2nd Feb, so I guess I'm paying for a 'phone I don't have!

I don't mind the wait for a good deal, but not happy if I've got to pay for it before it's arrived!

Any advice?

    No there isn't one on here

    Is there not a tracking number for the order ???

  • Yes, there's a tracking number been allocated - since 31/1/11, but for whatever reason, DHL haven't collected it. I contacted them as well, and they confirmed all that's happened is that e2save have printed a label.

    Well at least you know that it's not gone missing ;)

    I doubt that DHL would know why it's on hold so the only port of call would be to ask E2save ???

    It may also be worth considering cancelling and starting again ...even if it means another supplier ???

    Hi, there are quite limited stocks of refurbished phones so they are probably just waiting for someone to return their faulty phone. ( Tongue in cheek ) Hope they check it out properly before sending it to you. !!!

  • Phones arrived now! Looks fine.

    Many thanks to Sarah for her efforts, though the 'phone was apparently already on it's way.

    Been promised some compensation as well. I'll post again with fuller story after it's arrived.

    Quick update for anyone who's interested.

    I've had my 'phone a while now. Very happy in the end. e2save sorted it out eventually, and compensated me very nicely for all the hassle.

    If I get all the cashback I've been promised, it will be a great deal. It will be sometime before I get all that though, so I'll try & remember to provide feedback occasionally.

    Quick update, as I said I would.

    One more cashback to go. All others received without a hitch.

    Phone does play up a bit though, so not sure if I'd go with refurbished again.
