error messages! help needed

hi all. my computer has started giving me error messages and asking me to send an error report to microsoft. i do not know what to do about this, could it be something serious? i have checked for virus and i have none, i have also checked for spyware and have none. help would be appreciated.

probably just means IE has crashed, try https://www.ccleaner.com

thanks for the reply but i already use ccleaner on a weekly basis.
any other reason why it would be doing this?

if you post up the exact error message (and when it happens) you may get a better response.

most of the time it is in IE but occaisionaly when my daughter is playing games.

the error message says that internet explorer has encountered a problem and has to close. then gives me the option to send an error report or not.
just dont know why. seems to do it more in my daughters areas than in mine.

You can click on "details" and get the error code.

pardon my ignorance but what does the error code tell me? will it then be fixable?

If you post the code it means we or you can pin point the problem.

have just went into my daughters area and this problem occured again.
the error box came up but there was no button for details! i went into the technical info box but it might as well have been in russian.
what now?
