I went to my local m&s in Nov and was very happy with the service I received.

She measured me a cup size bigger than I had been wearing and all of the bras that I tried on fit me nicely and much better than the size I had been wearing - I have bought several more bras from m&s and debenhams since and all have been same size as marks fit me

La Senza is a completely different story, there bras are so badly sized - I can never walk in and just buy a bra in my size, every bra I have from la senza is a different size

and im not the only one a lot of my friends have the same problem with la senza
  • Hi.
I work for M & S, and our particular store has training for our bra fitters in a regular basis. Not sure if this is a general thing for other stores though.
We ask staff to volunteer for the bra fitting team, so they can learn and be better as a fitter. We also ask our customers for feedback to help with better service.

One day some company will do what they say they will do and charge a fair charge.:T

Not doing the opposite of that which they promise and charge you a fortune for the privileged. :(

    Or maybe not:mad:

thanks for all the replies everyone! :)

My problem with bravissimo is their bras arent very 'pretty'. I like bright neon coloured things like M&S' limited collection or la senza.

I find La senza fitters hit n miss. I had a brilliant one in Marble arch last year that thoroughly went through everything and did a proper fit. and she was like 17!!

I looked up debenhams and they do quite a few 30 backs in larger cups which is BRILLIANT as la senza only do it in their ugly styles.

Is the 4inchs added to the band thing tru for M&S? as reading around it seems like that's what they do to get the 'true' size?

Im gonna miss limited collection though... now time to spend a fortune on bras!!! NOT HAPPY!!!
  • I have some lovely bras from bravissimo, in very bright pinks and purples (they're by panache). I too had same trouble with m&s, i don't think they can cope with big boobies! When i was 18 they put me in a 36e, shortly after went to bravissimo who put me in a 32gg, have since gone up to 32h but would only use bravissimo nowadays. It's great that I can now actually buy proper fitting bikinis and I actually now have a proper fitting strapless bra too! It's taken years and years for someone to make a strapless bra in a H cup but thank goodness they finally have!
