dresses with straps?

thanks so much for that....that is my WORST nightmare....my own fiance rarely sees me in just underwear nevermind a whole shop!! God i would have been so shocked Id have probably slapped her!! lol thanks for the warning!

Yeah i think maybe go into a shop...try a few on, find one i like and then get the name of the make n 'design' and then search ebay etc LOL

Hi All

Mine is Ronald Joyce 16022 with sparkly straps. Got it reduced from £850 to £540.

I thought it would be different to have one with straps as most of them seem to be strapless these days. (You can also remove the straps on my one if you like.)

Ahhh - I also have the strap problem - I look dreadful in anything strapless (I'm really top heavy and I always have the fear my chest will escape lol!) My dress is pretty unconventional (in that it is midnight blue - but it has thick straps!) but I did walk into BHS in London today today and was stunned to see a really pretty one with proper straps in the bridal department. I think it was this:

I thought I wanted a dress with straps, but when I actually tried dresses with strap they swamped me. I would definitely try some on before buying. I ended up with strapless

hi laura, yeah thats the one i really liked from BHS...but the beading along the top tapers upwards across the boob....and i hate things that look like they cute the boobs in half LOL it would have been perfect but for that!

celyn, oo midnight blue!! at first i wanted a purple dress, but finding it hard to find a nice white/silver one with straps in my budget (u can tell im getting really fussy! LOL) so would be impossible to find purple! LOL

Thankyou! Although being a Maggie Dress, it pulled everything in VERY well, and I definitely have more stomach than enough- it gave me a flat tummy! The copy dress was just under £200 wit hthe exchange rate....
