A worthy contender (for Northerners) perhaps? Cheaper, plus 2 sides instead of the M&S 1.

I usually always buy the M&S deal but this year I have gone with Sainsburys who are offerings a starter, a main, a side, a dessert, 1 bottle of wine and a box of after eights all for £15.00.
Tescos are also offering a valentines deal for £15.00 but no starter or chocs. Even Waitrose are offering a £15 valentines deal.
The only reason I did not go for M&S this year is that I am not a big fish lover and all the starters were fish and there are only 9 chocs in the box of chocs.

Also the list you posted was not correct. I didn't list all the stuff & it was all muddled up. Like starters in the mains list etc...

Hi All

Just wanted to share a meal deal for those of us in the North. I have bought a couple, just because it is better value than some of the others and the products in the deal taste great.

It's at Booths supermarkets, for those who don't know they are based in Lancs, Yorks and Cumbria with one store in Knutsford too. They are dubbed the Waitrose of the North but I think Booths is better! Certainly cheaper!

Anyway the deal is on Booths website, (google Booths supermarkets I can't post the link) its 4 courses and a bottle of wine for £15 (you get 2 side dishes - you only get 1 in M&S).

Just picked mine up for dinner tonight

Well pleased with what is available on this deal - much better than the usual £10 offer. I 'saved' £11.69. Whilst not cheap, I doubt very much that I would be able to buy all the component parts for much less.

Wow just had the m&s deal. completely amazing! well worth the money a lot cheaper than going out for a meal. im usually a fan of the tesco 10pounds deal but dont normally get steak starter and chocs. same price as a take away and bottle of wine but much better quality.

Getting mine on monday but had a look when I was i there yesterday, the starters look great and their steak is always really nice, lovely choice on all the courses, and the wines - am looking forward to it! x
