thks guys for all your help.
I went shopping on Monday but Superdrug were sold out of most of the ones you guys mentioned and being an MS'er i couldn't pay the full price in Boots! (no Savers, Homebargains or B&M in Chester!)
Will shop again on Saturday and determined to get it this time :)

hi, there is a big B&M in Chester on the Boughton (not BRoughton) retail park - where the old Glynn Webb store was. (I live in Wrexham but the B&M in Chester is much bigger) :)01244 346230

I sometimes use Batiste. I wash my hair every second day but sometimes it gets greasy before that. When my mum was in hospital her hair was lank. I took some of this in as she wasn't allowed out of bed and she felt a lot better and cleaner after using it. I wouldn't use it as a substitute for actual shampoo as I love the feeling of newly washed hair, but it's very handy for inbetween days.

I try and wash mine every three days, as I dye my hair red and the colour can fade super quickly - luckily my hair doesn't get greasy too quickly at all. On the day before I wash it though it can look at little limp and greasy (especially around my fringe area), and batiste is my lifesaver! It smells lovely - just have to be careful to rub it all in, or it can look like i'm going grey!

  • I've occasionally used batiste as well.

However, someone told me to go without washing my hair until it was really manky and as long as I could tolerate it. So didnt wash my hair for a week, (i should add I didnt leave the house :D either). Anyway then I washed it. And I noticed I didnt have to wash my hair every day. Now I get a way with 4 days and not greasy. :T

So maybe its worth a shot. I've got long dark straight hair.

I did this too with the help of dry shampoo (batiste again) but I've got mine down to every 10 days  over a six month period, I use dry shampoo very rarely now and my hair is in really good condition and I dye dark it every six weeks:)
Thank you for this site Martin

    Yes.

I wash my hair every other day and use Batiste on all the other days. My hair gets greasy after just one day so I tried Batiste just before Christmas and can't believe what difference it made. It does make hair look a little bit dull, but not that anyone else would notice, just me being picky! I use the Blush version.

Blush is my fave Batiste fragrance, the blue (original) can is MINGING.
I think the original one is quite nice, a bit like lemonade! Tropical one is lovely :)
