Plus I'm GOOD at this one, and need at least another couple of years to build my profile.

Superb place for you to be, you are far to clever to let his short sighted (and frankly selfish) idiocy hurt your career.

  • greenbee what AnW'sMum says is a good idea - it would give you new opportunities and something challenging to get your teeth into and you said you dont like your boss so I think it would be my way of kick starting myself if I was in your position - what happenened to the greenbee we knew - are you going to let Ex-oh drag you down because thats what it looks like to me - he's making you miserable - do you want to stay just friends then you are going to have to get tough again and stop wondering about what he is doing or what might have been - if you are just colleagues then keep him in his place and he will soon get the message - it is quite possible to still to work together but if you are still drawn to him then it wont work - I am sorry if I am sounding harse but i think you need to have a good talk with yourself and decide what you want with or without him and go for it. As for the exercise and eating problems this is what happens when you dont look after yourself - you have been all over the world and your body clock has taken a battering - you need to be a bit more careful about catching up when you get back from trips - as always you were trying to fit in tooooooooo much - take this blip as a warning to sort out your routines and finding time for relaxation and I dont mean at 6am!!!! Even if you are working from home you should be getting up and getting properly dressed - if you are smart and tidy you will achieve that much more as you will be more motivated - you know all that already but just need reminding - forgive me for being brutal but we are all worried about you but probably too scared to tell you. Now if you havent already (I'm just catching up) get yourself dressed and go for a SHORT walk - 5-10 mins is enough for now- then you will be eating at 7pm so get your act together - AND you will be going to bed at a reasonable time - I dont know what your week is like but you need to re-introduce definite routines into your day - eat at proper times and get enough sleep for starters - and I expect to see posts saying you have been working when you should not lying reading or being lazy - come my girl you can do this and I wont take 'no' for an answer. (((hugs)))

ETA probably best you just ignore me - talking through a hole in my head again!!!

Vanilla (((hugs))) you need to talk to DH and sort something out - you will wear yourself out at this rate

piggers go for it - I will be ready in 2 mins - AnW's Mum is right I am ebaying!

    tootsxx
    Peace will be mine

:hello:Hi to all my flylady friends!! I've finally caught up with the thread - even though I took my laptop to France with me, I didn't have enough time to keep up. It seems like it's been a rough week for some of us, so hugs and positive vibes coming your way.

I had a very productive trip, and lots of plans have been sketched out, a few dates fixed, and a list drawn up of what I need to get on with next!

We also had a fairly restful time at the hotel, which was right out in the countryside, and some seriously delicious meals. We even found time to whisk into the hypermarket for some shopping on the way back yesterday.

DD wasn't very well while we were away, and had to go to the GP - a virus of some sort, and now she has a heavy cold.

I have done minimal flying, mostly loads of washing. I should be able to do better next week, as I'm off Wednesday now as well as Friday.

I really must finish my planning now....

I'll see you all on next week's thread.

Love and hugs, especially for toots, lady-liberty and mudbath.

toots... it's pitch black and peeing down outside. No WAY am I going for a walk (I am dressed though!). However, you are right about needing to get into a routine, so I promise I'll try from tomorrow morning. Routine, proper food, exercise and making sure I see real people a couple of times a week!

Toots - you aren't wrong, but where Greenbee is atm is superb for her career and she has to stay for a while. Greenbee, you know, without my unsolicited opinion (for which I apologise) that you both have to rise above it. If he can't then he needs to leave and take the damage, not you. He persued the situation, not you. He chose to mess it up, not you. He should pay the price, not you. Do not let him win. You are clever, and throoughly competent. You never, ever lose.

  • ((hugs)) GreenBee and well done for doing a few things today - tomorrow, as they say, is a new day for us all, I hope it feels more positive.

I have done a few things from the procrastination list, supervised a few things/arguments and laughed at DS looking at old photos which he just can't relate to! Now hiding away listening to DH & DS doing homework - one is not used to supervising, and the other in a "difficult" mood....Lil_me will know what that can be like!

But a huge step forward for DS toady - he read something at church completely unprompted, twice, and reduced us all to tears. And keeps saying he "can read" - at last! Many of you know the battle for literacy we have and are having...a minor miracle for us today.

OK, I need to tidy up after dinner, and do those dratted accounts...

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
