  • There is nothing very moneysaving about hanging on to clothes I don't wear - just stops me seeing what I could wear, but still struggling with taking the stuff off the hangers and putting it in the 'charity' bag.
  • Triker I am really so pleased that they will do it and both at once - I know it will be hard work for everyone but all the pain will be over with at once - Your post brought a lump to my throat to think of her in pain and wanting to dance - I hope it is all sorted soon and by the summer she can walk without pain (((hugs))) for both of you and belated birthday wishes for DD2 as well xxxxxxxxxx

helen j awh honey that is such a lovley post about DS's day - it made me cry that Grandad missed it by a whisker but that DS thought he was watching - maybe that will help DS comes to terms with his loss easier. It sounds like the club did him proud - what a wonderful day (((hugs)))

I'm cream crackered now! We have done the hardest work in the garden now (well apart from digging the small wild life pond later in the year) :j and the apricot tree is in the ground (just needs DH to pop out and stake it) :j

Forcast for tomorrow is for sun so I plan for DS1 to help move the pile of firework from the back to front garden and fill the skip bag with small sticks until I have space to dry them.

thanks... Couldn't be bothered to get up this morning. I'm not that I'll. Mostly fed up really and I'm sure the lack of exercise and proper food are part of it, but I just don't have the energy or motivation to do anything about either of them at the moment. Really starting to worry about you GB. You sound so depressed, I want the old buzzy bee back:(

neither have I, but then a. I hate shopping and b. I'm ethically opposed to them ...

I agree on both counts, I have been in one once for some dreadful pumps that DS2 wanted and that was enough
It was a great visit [just a shame that Grandad wasn't there to see it but DS thinks he was watching from up above]

Glad you had a good time and that DS coped without Grandad. When is the funeral Helen? Hugs for you all.

Just having a cuppa and then I need to put the potatoes in the AGA and hoover and mop the kitchen floor which has had the wheelbarrow, an olive tree, bag of compost, 2 muddy boys and many gardening boots through it today.

Hex - thanks for remembering (I knew you would) when you are so busy x

Mudders wishing you home real soon x

Greenbee - I need your help! I have to make myself find a way to exercise that doesn't leave me doing my best little old lady impression, but I also need someone to compete with ;). Come back and play on the Facebook thread and we can [STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE] spur each other on to actually do something. I am away for a weekend with the whole family  in June and we have booked a Villa in N. Portugal for a week in July, then I have my sisters wedding in November so I need to get myself sorted or be ashamed of the photos.

Thanks! As far as I've got is trying to find pics online that I can use but no such luck so this will require ironing stuff then photographing stuff then describing stuff then messing about with photo programme I barely understand stuff in the hope that I get some money back for stuff I should never have bought in the first place.Aargh! :rotfl:

Alternatively, I eat reduced price apple pies I bought yesterday and watch iplayer... Hmm:think:

DO the listings head them all REVISE then you can update with pictures later - basically just do a title, pick a cetegory then 'tidy' them up later.

    Afternoon all

Well most of the biscuits were eaten at church this morning there are a few left for us. We called at Mr M's on the way home for supplies, I reckon I shan't need to go again next week, fingers crossed.

Flyingwise the DW has been on and I finished sorting the kitchen after yesterday's baking session (Miss A had done part of it).

We have been watching 007 this afternoon and now Miss A is tidying her bedroom and W is playing with his lego (for a change!)
Ive shredded my credit card :( so i dont spend more on it. its my bank card that was heading for a hammering, but ive hidden my purse in the ironing pile and we all know im not going in there!

I have heard of people freezing their cards in blocks of ice so that they can't get to them too quickly but should you gebuinely need the card then it is still intact ;) A bit more difficult to get to than at the bottom of the ironing pile.
It was a great visit [just a shame that Grandad wasn't there to see it but DS thinks he was watching from up above]

It sounds to lme llike Grandad was there with you both :) just an idea but why don't you both write down what the day meant to you and start a new book of memories.

Greenbee I don't mean to upset you but you seem so down with everything going on in your life that I wonder if it is worth you looking for another job away from your ex. In times past you have mentioned that your job skills are in demand within the industry. If you could work for another company then at a stroke you will remove yourself from the situation of having to deal with him in any capacity unless you choose to do so. If this is not practical or causes offence then I apologise, it is not meant as such.
