    Morning All

How many years is it Max?

Not a lot happening today although I do need to pop out for some bits, we're going to visit one of DH's friends who is 60 and my mate's asked if I can have her kids for an hour so actually it looks like I could be quite busy.

Going to stick the WM on again now and boil some ham.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Miss A decided to bake yesterday afternoon, the recipe said it would make approx 2 biscuits, she made over 80!! Admittedly she did roll them thinner and used small cutters for some but 80! Fortunately she had already said she wanted to take them to church this morning :) They are very nice but we both agreed they could have done iwth a touch more ginger.

    Better go and get organised.

Thanks shellysue, I know and have sent the same message to others, but when you are reading what some people are coping with you do stop and think.
TBH most of me knows I am capable of more than I achieve, but a small bit doesn't agree and that 'small bit' can shout very loudly at times :rotfl:
Aunty well done for going it alone - I hope you have a great break and enjoy the tutorials as well.
    toots xx
All went well. Mind you I was 'cream crackered' when I got in last night and I haven't dare work out what the two days cost with train fares, overnight stay food etc. and all for a 2 hour tutorial.
However the tutor was fantastic - enthusiastic, encouraging, and loads of information. Just hope I can hang on to the positive energy I came away with.

Have only skimmed the thread so hugs and spoons as needed

greenbee - hugs, not used to you sounding so down, hope you feel better this morning.

Mudbath - good to hear from you. Sending 'get well' vibes

Special love to toots and Lady-L - thanks for letting us know about Tris

Two things I realised over the last two days
1 How fast this thread can move
2 How often I must check during a normal day not to have noticed:o

PP - hoping the news about CAB financial funding is good news for your job

I need to get the WM on, deal with the ironing mountain, hoover everywhere, empty and fill the DW and clear the tip that is the kitchen so that I can do something with the egg mountain. George is sat on me and Oz is trying to sit on top of her so they are clearly feeling neglected :o

To all the newbies and flypeeps who have joined us and made a start! I know some of you think your achievements are small - but its more than you would have done otherwise! Keep at it and well done!!

Thanks Jo, I did get a little despondent during the week but after reading this it gave me a bit of a push again to keep going!

I think maybe the first week I expected too much of myself, especially considering the years this house has been allowed to get into the state it is ... work, appointments, etc seemd to get in the way a little too this week but DH (upgraded from the miserable old git he was last weekend!) was a HUGE help yesterday and we got on really well in the lounge. Quite a bit of it you dont see on the surface so to speak so anybody just walking in the room might think well what did they spend all that time doing but we know what we did and proud of what we did, theres still some stuff to finish in there but its all much more acheivable now.

So, if nothing else this week we have one much improved room ! (Doesnt it make everywhere look worse tho!). I do have some paid work to do today but am going to post the weeks lists and see if I can get some more stuff clear before the new week starts.

Thanks again for letting me join in , I have managed to keep up with most of the thread and am sending hugs and healing wishes to everyone who needs them , especially those with men troubles, bereavements and the poorly peeps - sorry not to mention you all by name but have been thinking of you ... xx
