Many celebrities come from middle or upper class backgrounds, I can't imagine how you got most coming form working class backgrounds.
Well obviously we can both list celebrities that have come from both backgrounds, however these days the vast majority of UK celebrities are footballers, footballers wives, page 3 girls and reality TV stars. The majority of which tend to be drawn from the working classes. There is nothing wrong with this and I believe greatly in social mobility and being rewarded for your talents. The point was that if you are from a background where you are regularly exposed to Macdonalds, KFC, etc. you will get a taste for it and just because you are now famous and rich doesn't mean you will stop going there. Or in fact you should stop going there. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
You won't be much of a footballer if you eat too many takeaways, many of them may be from working class backgrounds but they are still investing in themselves as a commodity and even though they burn a lot of calories playing and training the nutritional value is not that great. Same with so called WAGS and Page 3 girls - none of them wants to be seen being too much of a chubster. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

I've used it once and just wanted a ham salad. There were 4 staff all lined up next to each other adding various fillings and every one of them asked me if I wanted cheese.I didn't want cheese, even after they asked me 4 times.I don't like cheese. No cheese please.Just ham and salad thanks.

If this happened to me... no, wait, it wouldn't, because I'd say, "Can I have a BBQ ribs without sauce?"0

The Subway name doesn't make sense outside of the USA.0 -
The Subway name doesn't make sense outside of the USA.
doesn't it? We have at least one here - maybe two, (in the town where I live) thinking on, and I've known of Subway (in the UK) for a while. And while liking their food, I find it expensive for what it is.
But you do pay for someone else to make your lunch for you0 -
ooops-you are quite right aheaton46 lol I wonder why I thought it was Subway!0

The food police comment strikes me as quite silly.
I'm hardly a healthy eater, what I'm saying is Subway has no place on a 'money saving' site, it's paying £4 for what Tesco sells for less than £1.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
