Thats a pretty low excess in comparison

The company i work for is self insured. They do not insure every vehicle but have blanket coverage.

Our excess is £250k, so basically every claim is paid out direct from the company.

Then again i think it would cost mega £££ to insure 650 buses at £300k each

They normally employ an Insurer (Most use Axa at the moment) to physically administer the claims made against them by third parties

How can failure to produce at the roadside, even if it were an offence, (which I am not convinced that it is -because of section 165 (3)) be a "moviing traffic" offence? That is, an offence commited whilst the vehicle was in motion (see Section 6 (4))

Our pet policeman would could probably answer that (or not) has got fed up of people pointing out the yawning caps in his knowledge of the RTA and so has gone home (and taken his ball & teddy with him)

I know we definately don't use an insurer. My job role is an iBus controller so i only deal with an accident when a driver calls it in. I then compile a form and send it over to the accident guys.

Very brave of you Mikeh, for even admitting what you do here!
Since you 'admitted' it (as if it were some kind of crime), you've been 'pounced' on somewhat  and I for one, think you've handled yourself admirably.
Unless you want more of the same whenever you even dare to join in with a topic around these parts, I suggest you get yourself a new username!

Vaio, I'll now give you a very basic lesson in physics, as your'e obviously too thick or a troll to understand basic laws of it.

If someone is not carrying their documents, while the vehicle is MOVING, then that is a MOVING TRAFFIC OFFENCE, because the vehicle is not standing still, but MOVING, ie travelling, and therefore committing a MOVING TRAFFIC OFFENCE.

Simple enough for you, or are you now going to throw your teddies out the pram by trolling some more?

What nonsense, The offence as you put it, is "not producing documents when requested". There is no offence anywhere of "Not carrying your documents with you in the car" point that one to me please. You can't say "I wanted you to have shown me your documents whilst I was flashing my blue light at you as we were moving". I could for example have my documents in the car, but refuse to show them to you.

and with that last message I won't be posting on here anymore as theres's absolutely no point in trying to speak to people who are obviously on another planet, as shown by some of the ignorant or plainly thick comments on this thread.

Probably best mate because whenever I see your posts I can't help but think of Constable Savage nd his made up offences http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BO8EpfyCG2Y

That's rich from a poster with 24 posts to his name, in response to a poster with 11,000 posts over 6 years.

Right, because having a high post count somehow makes you more important.

No, but if you look at those posts, can you show me a troll? Compare that to a "24 post" user, who when asked to dicuss things, suddenly starts shouting 'troll alert'
