Feeling Very SAD

I just wanted to bump this up and ask for a bit more advice if you good people don't mind.

As you know I have been unhappy about returning to work and leaving my children. The children went to the childminders twice this week and it just doesn't feel right, now I remember I was unhappy when I returned to work after having my DS but nothing like this, so I am starting to think that it is the childminder.

Even though they have only been twice I have started to look for a new one, am I mad? alot of my friends and family say I am.

I was a registered childminder up to last year so will help where I can. No you are not mad to be considering changing! You are leaving the most precious things in the world with this person and what you think and feel matters hugely. If you are not sure about the childminder your children will pick up on it so may be very unsure about staying with the childminder when you go to work. Could you possibly meet up with the childminder at a regular place she would take the children e.g a childminder meeting at childrens centre or pop in and play session to see how they interact with your childminder? Or alternatively spend a few hours on one of the days you are not working at her house to see how they are when you are there as well as they may then relax there and get used to the environment rather than thinking if mummy doesn't like it here then we won't either.
