It is very bad organising. Getting to the point where you have nothing to give the kids is pretty bad. What is wrong with replenishing before stocks fall so low?

And I have reported you for calling me an imbecille too. You're choice of words really show your lack of vocabulary.

Did you actually have anything to input at all - other than your judgemental patronising of this poor woman? This was a complete newcomer and you have scared her off now with your crap - you should be ashamed!

Reporting me has probably been the most exitement you have had for a long long time!!

I have pointed this thread out to the MODS to show them how unwelcome newcomers are made to feel on this forum.

Well, i joined for a rant over my bad experience but dont think i will bother again, after basically being told i should be more organised and suggest i left my kids without food! We do our shopping online once a week when we get paid, it isnt possible to "replensih stock" until then as things are VERY tight so if im going to be judged for my parenting abilities because Asda let us down VERY badly then thanks but no thanks!!
But thank you to those that stuck up for me on that one, it is appreciated that you saw my point, thank you.

It is a real shame when things like that happen to newcomers in our little community and I am sorry to see that happen - its a real shame.

Please please don't think that everyone is likely to have a dig- some people really have nothing better to do with their lives than come on forums like this and attempt to stir up some exitement in their sad little lives.I imagine them to sit there with steam coming out of their ears while the rest of us in the real world sit and snigger.

There really are some lovely people who you can have serious discussions and debates with on this site, and there is always the 'ignore' button to get rid unwanted pests.

Ska lover - you're more than welcome to point out to the mods, and at the same time they can see how abusive you are in calling a person an imbecile.

Pointing out how bad organisation the OP has isn't abusing...its pure common sense not to let things get as bad as she pointed out when you have kids and relying on a delivery to bring it to you when they aren't 100% reliable.

Give the forum another chance i for one thought your post was spot on and informative, things like this happen on the net some people think because it's anonymous they can talk to people differently than in real life.I haven't been here long but on the whole it's an excellent forum with lots of good people willing to share their finds and bargains.
  • Thank you for the kind comments, i dont usually let people get to me but those posts really upset me as they have NO idea what my situation is at home with my life and money etc so i just got upset that i was made to feel like i had been judged by a stranger. I have calmed down now and am not going to let one person spoil my use of this site as it seems to be full of useful info and many people that will give you advise that is helpful. Im all for people having their opinion but not when you are made to feel like crap by it.
    Thanks again peeps :)
  • What nonsense. DISASTER???

A bit of shopping arrives late!

Some people are just so full of themselves and believe too much in their own importance.

I have stopped shopping with asda online i have had nothing but problems with them for the last couple of orders i have done. The one that got my back up was when i was charged twice for my shopping they emptyed my bank account and it took just over a week to get my money back. CS is a joke everyone i spoke too did not speak very good english. Was told i would get a online voucher added to my account as goodwill, i am still waiting.
emrussell i must be a bad mother as well as i often run out stuff then order my shopping and expect it to be delivered.
Welcome to the site and keep posting we are not all nasty on this site i promise ;)

OP: It must not have been just you that missed out on breakfast this morning; seems like a whole bunch of people got out of the wrong side of bed to find out that their cereals were missing; that can be the only explanation for the snidey 'it's not a disaster' and 'bad mum' comments.

This is my first time on this particular forum, i looked up the article relating to Asda . Then I read the other posts. This is not an isolated incident on any forum board here and whilst free speech is to be cherished, with it comes responsibility. I am saddened and dismayed at what i've seen .
Thank you to all the money savers:beer: for all the wisdom, companionship, bargains, competitions and ideas:T you have made a transformation to our household, Thank you, it would have been so much harder without you and together we are amazing :A:smileyhea

Reech - I think you need to re-read this thread. I can't find the phrase "bad mum" anywhere.......bad organisation maybe......
