Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Hello again,

I think until my 12 week scan I'm going to be nervous about believing this is real.... You would think the sore boobs, all day sickness and constant toilet visits would help but no I'm a worrier!

I have my midwife appointment on Wednesday, first time at this doctors as lived elsewhere when I had my son. Will be sorting my c section as I had one with my son for medical reasons and will with this one again.
I will be at LGI in Leeds, current home of obem but no way would I want to be on the show I actually struggle to watch it lol.

Anyway hope everyone has a great week, good luck to all those with scans and appointments )

Hi everyone, I havent posted on here for ages, sorry its been a long time !! I have read it a bit but been really busy with getting a newer car, trying to sell the old one and booking a holiday !! We are off to Cyprus near the end of March.

Congratulations to all the newbies, be positive - you may get to 15+5 like me. I know wrong thread, will post on the other one later.
Good luck to those with Scans and appointments, good luck and try to ask questions, relax and enjoy it.
Big big hugs to all those who have had mc's, cant imagine how hard that must. Good luck for the future.
Good luck to the older mums too - I am 40, but so far so good.

Thanks for all the tips on maternity clothes as I need to be getting some bigger clothes. Getting by with the bands - 2 from Asda for £8 black and white - at the mo, but probably not for long.

Next Scan is 2nd April, so fingers cross all goes well for that.

Hi again everyone

Will be 7 weeks tomorrow... eeek! Still doesn't feel real - really sore boobs and I sometimes think I feel a bit nauseous but nothing major and that's all. I have first appointment with midwife on 22 March. We're off to the Canaries on holiday next week and I am already worrying about something going wrong while we are away when I really should just be thinking about what a fab holiday we'll have and how I will be able to relax for a week.

jjbargaingal, can I ask if this will be your first baby? I'm 38 going on 39 and pregnant for first time. Doctor didn't seem worried about my age but I was just wondering how you got on with midwife appointments etc? My mum was almost 42 when she had me, but I was her second, although I guess all those years ago her age was probably a bigger deal than it is now!

Hi Lisa, I'm near Leeds too. My mums friend has just been filmed for obem, and they are now waiting for their DVD to come through to them, to approve whether or not they want to go on the show!

I can imagine sweetness, its the 'big one' in terms of milestones so dont forget to try and enjoy it too!

I doubt you will get any sleep tonight but know you are in my thoughts and prayers x x x x

Thanks Mishka. I'm trying to be relaxed but I can't help but think the worst. Oh well not long until we know either way.
