Although I'm not sure my doctor is quite with it as when I went for my early scan when I had my mc she phoned to book me the appointment but didn't send anything in writing so they didn't have any notes about why I was there etc and we had to wait a while for them to fax something over before I could be scanned!

Hope everyone is well.

I've just had my appointment through in the post for my 1st scan and i will be 14 weeks and 4 days. I thought it had to be done by 14 weeks at the latest? Can anyone help?

DP, i think it might depend a bit on your area, and what scan they do- if they use the scan to do combined test- nuchal + bloods, then its by 13+6, if they just do scan, then i dont think its as critical. I would definately ring the antenatal unit to check, as there may have been a mix up with your EDD which caused them to schedule you later than required. It will put your mind at ease anyway!

Hello all, may I join all you lovely ladies? Just found I'm pregnant, my cbdigi says I'm 2-3 weeks but doing an online calculator says I'm roughly 4 weeks and 5 days, I dun get it. The first day of my last period was on the 6th July... anyone shed any light?

The digi tells you how many weeks since conception rather than how many weeks since your last AF. So you conceived 2-3 weeks ago but for dating purposes you would be 4+5 if that makes sense?!

I had a bit if a scare yesterday, when I went to the loo there was a blob of dark brown mucus (sorry TMI) and of course I thought the worst. But I haven't had anymore (touch wood) and I haven't had any pain so hopefully it was just a bit of old blood.
I'm off to the doctors tomorrow anyway so I will mention it.

I did another digi this morning and it's gone from 2-3 last week to 3+ this week so I'm taking that as a good sign.

emsbet - I think, that is normal. I am no doctor and I havent had that myself but I think I have read about others having it before. If you are off to the docs tomorow, they will be able to tell you. Atleast the digi has put your mind at rest

Anyone who is a little futher along than me (I am 8 + 4) when did your tiredness ease off a little? Last night I was a bit better and today I feel better than I have for a while, I dont want to jinx it but I was wondering if the worst of the tiredness may have passed? I havent had any MS either, which does tend to worry me although I know some of you ladies havent either.

I have been off work on leave for a week so have had lots of nice lie ins...back tomorow though so I have to get up at 6:15am not looking forward to it!!!!
