May I ask why lefthandedness keeps being put in the same category as dyslexia? Last time I checked, being lefthanded wasn't a disability? Perhaps I have missed the point somewhere.

no i dont think its being put inthe same category, pigpen was just saying there have been some studies tha show excessive scanning may have something to do with being left handed or to do with dyslexia. we are not saying its a disability. although when my son throws a tantrum about it i could disable his whinging lol

wow never knew this, with our edlest son i had loads of scan and he is left handed. it gave him no end of problems when he first started school he just couldn't grip a pen strong enough to write or draw. he fantastic now tho.

other youngest son is also a lefty , but didn't have as many scan's. more than normal tho.

but being left handed does run in my family, so who know's.
  • Evening all, hope you've all had a good weekend.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on whether its safe to use heat pads in pregnancy? It's for very lower back/butt area, paracetemol does nothing and the pain's only going to get worse in work tomorrow. Would rather just put up with it than risk harming the bean though obviously! Anyone had any experience of this at all?

    Thanks
