Those in an IVA wanting a bank account with Debit card

More to get cashback through Quidco than anything else I applied for a bank account with Citibank last month. Despite being 4 months into an IVA they not only approved me for the account (I asked for no overdraft of course), but they also gave me a proper Visa Debit card!
Worth a try for those who are having trouble getting one.

Nope... Im a bankrup and I can have one. Its not credit, its a Debit card.0 -
I can understand Solo or Electron
But Visa Delta / Maestro ... it'll take the money even if it isn't there and put you overdrawn, surely that opens the door to credit?No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

am in a dmp and have defaults dya reacon they'd let me have one? then again are citibank connected with anyone else?current debt standing at 27500 :eek:

Coop Cashminder has a Visa debit card too. And they are only connected to Smile I think. They will also take on Bankrupts,IVA's and DMP's0

Just wanted to add that I recieved a Letter from Citibank today to say that I had also been accepted for their account with Visa Delta Card, even though i'm 3 months into an IVA
