Congratulations Perdi!!!

Nothing happening here - think that little bit of mucus was a one-off trick to make me think something was happening! I went for a very small walk earlier, as I can't manage far with my SPD. I'm determined to try and walk somewhere each day now to encourage baby to come down. I certainly know I've done the walk though!

We have a busy week this week, so if he wants to cause maximum inconvenience, this week will be the one. DH thinks he will be born tomorrow on the full moon :rotfl: My money is on Saturday as it is our first wedding anniversary and we have a nice chinese takeaway planned Thinking of having a BBQ for tea tonight as the weather is lovely here

My legs are really sore at the moment and I can't work out why. I don't suffer with skin problems normally, certainly not on my legs. I have a varicose vein on the back of one leg and it feels sore over the top of it, and then by night time I have a rash down my legs - particularly on the one with the varicose vein. My maternity jeans are feeling tight now, so maybe the legs on my jeans are just rubbing the skin a bit.

Had my GTT this morn so fingers crossed all ok, should hear back by tomorrow if not.

26+5 today and finally starting to get my act together, in the past 2 days have bought cotbed, mattress, some bedding, vibrating bouncy chair and a playmat - using discount codes for Mothercare so have saved quite a bit :beer:

Oh also, whoever was looking for a dark nightshirt, i went into Peacocks today and they had 30% off nightwear and i got a navy nightshirt with white stripes, it has buttons down past the bust and with the discount it was £4.20, similar to this style http://www.peacocks.co.uk/product/index.jsp?productId=4498761&prodFindSrc=paramNav they had quite a few dark coloured ones so might be worth a look xx

hi doglover i noticed you were due the same day lol you dont by any chance work in a school do you thats why my mat leave starts 21 july school summer hols.

can anyone tell me how i get on the list i really want to see myself moving up it. im due 17 aug.

smileyface iv just had similar thing im 30+6 and when went to loo last night was pale pink watery discharge when i wiped, no pain and had nothing since and baby is still moving loads so i wasnt worried but rang midwife this morn just to let them know. they said i should be checked over and gave me an appointment for PAU. everythings fine and they cant find reason for it so just one of those things. they put me on monitor to check babys heartbeat and movement and also had a look at my cervix (was a bit like a smear test) and did a swab for infection but they dont think its likely. she just said in preg the blood vessels get very enlarged so could just be one thats burst and that all sorts of discharge is actually really common in preg. just another one of the joys we go through lol.

if anyone is looking for a lightweight dark dressing gown iv seen some dark purple ones with a white spot trim in sainsburys for £14 im going to get myself one tonight as my other lightweight dressing gown is white not really very practical.

I've been feeling really achey in my lower back, hips & pelvis area the last couple of days/nights & Harrison has been going mental. :eek:

I'm not sure if that means anything but I have an appointment at the Antenatal Assessment Unit Thursday so i'll mention it then.

I now have cankles to go with the rest of my afflictions.. no wonder OH finds me about as appealing as a mouldy sprout!

(I am having my own personal pity party tonight!)

BCS hope you feel better hun, I am sure it's just part of the wonderful afflictions we're enjoying for the duration!

PigPen I know what you mean, at 34 weeks I get cankles on average 4 nights out of 7... a great excuse for a footbath whilst watching tv, I add a few drops of peppermint essential oil and also some bubble bath. Weird thing is our cat has developed a taste for the pepperminty water!

Hubby informed me I have started to snore, oh no... what can I do? Must be because of sleeping on my left, but why has it started now, I've been sleeping on left for ages...

We are off to dinner tonight and a movie, as we want to enjoy 'date nights' whilst we still can... so definately looking forward to it.
