Morning ladies,
Lyn great news re the dating scan and I hope your bloods are ok too - you have reminded me I need to call up re: my blood tests to find out the thyroid results, as all they have told me so far is the anaemia aspect. Thyroid must be stable though as otherwise I would have had a letter by now I am sure.
BCS hope you get the readings ok today and they can advise you further re: the insulin process.
Sequeena hope your pelvis isn't so sore now and that the ants move on - maybe on the Old Style boards there is some sort of advice for ants?
Koala and Ddebski thank you, mum is likely to be in surgery any minute now, it's so scary, hopefully will hear from her hubby later on. She is in the best possible care of specialists, so I know no-one could take care of her better, it's just I had never heard of surgery that takes 4 days like that or imagined her core temperature would need to be reduced so much. Anyway positive thoughts much appreciated.:):)

Good morning everybody.
I woke up at 05:00 today to warm glorious sunshine and not a cloud in the sky which I was really happy about as I was planning a day in the garden for the little guy and myself but looks like a bit of a non starter now as it has become very cloudy and dark and a lot cooler too.
Sparkle hope your work colleagues are decent about your mums surgery and give you some space for extra breaks and phone calls
D I have started getting rigid bump every single time I sit down which when added to my current aches and pains related to mobilizing is really not good! :rotfl:0 -
Morning all!
Big hugs to you Sparkle and lots of positive thoughts for your mum xx
Hope they get you sorted soon BCS xx
Pigpen - is bubs definitely not moving or is it hiding where you're numb again? Maybe worth a call and a hissy fit to the hospital and bring the scan forward?
Hope your back is a bit better today KM, glad your oven is in one piece too!
Becky - any news or are you still cleaning
Didn't sleep much last night, had a very sore bump for some reason growing pains I guess, bubs was wriggling all night so I'm not worried. Off for a hot bath to try and loosen up enough to channel my inner flylady (hopfully she exists!) because I know we've got visitors this weekend !
Also got to give the CSA a rocket, hanging on to DS's maintenance money again  they say on their payment schedule they'll send me the money on 4th of each month and they have an attachment of earnings from XH so I know they've got it by 1st of each month (he works for the council who are useless at most things but always pay on time) but every time I call they tell me they have until 19th to pay. Well its 19th today and my bank account is empty  I'm already feeling sorry for the poor person that answers my call!
Aaaanyway, hugs all round, hope everyone and bumps are doing well xx0 -
Oh Good luck Sparkle - hope everything goes well with your mum xx
Well I have been summoned to an important meeting regarding my future employment with my new boss next Wednesday but I have a MW appointment and I honestly can't be bothered trying to change it. It is a double appointment for 28 weeks and she only visits the centre on a Wednesday and I don't want to wait another week. Also OH has arranged to take the time off with his work and its just so much hassle to change it. I just feel like this new boss is clicking his fingers all the time and expecting everyone to jump and given that he may be making me redundant in a few weeks just makes me think why should I? (Probably all the more reason to go to the meeting but hey ho) Anyway, I e-mailed him and told him I couldn't make it and got a very abrupt reply saying he will see me on Thursday instead - uh oh
Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -
Morning all!
Thinking of you today sparkle. Hope you have no pregnancy worries so you can concentrate on your mum.
I'm feeling a lot more upbeat. Thanks for the positive messages about pregnancy ups and downs and the end result. I had a chat with my mm about how exhausted I've been feeling and she suggested I may be deficient in something (eg iron). Bought some pregnancy vitamins with iron yesterday so starts with them and if I feel the same next week for my midwife appointment I'll mention the tiredness. I've been sleepin over 9 hours a night and still struggling to keep awake and alert during the day and it's not like I've had a lot on (compared to usual).
Other news is I've reached viability! But, as much as I want this pregnancy to end, he seems to like it in there and I want him to stay safe in there a lot longer please
Debs - I can't sit up in the mornings anyway. I have to lie on my side and push myself up to sitting. My arms should be nice and strong by month 9!0 -
Yay for viability Twilight!0

Just to let you know, when they were taking maintenance off my ex by DEO from his wages, I was told it is the company that has until the 19th each month to pay to the CSA. The CSA then have to wait for the payment clear, and then they send it out to you, which you have to then wait to clear. I was told not to expect a penny until the end of the month after the one the maintenance was due for - so April's maintenance they have until 19th May to send to CSA, so prob end of May before you receive April's maintenance. Hope that makes sense? CSA are a nuisance, but needs mustHope you get some joy out of them xx
Hope everyone is well today.
Another hard night, but not quite as awful as the one before. Only had to scream out a couple of times in pain and managed more than a couple of hours sleep!
I really need to get motivated today to do something round the house. DH is really busy now with his last 2 assignments for the year and exam prep (exam is 2 weeks before baby due ) so he is not able to spend as much time doing housework and jobs for me. I'm thinking I'll try and clean the cot down today. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to give it a good clean - was thinking dilute dettol, because a) I love the smell and b) it will disinfect it.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Oh Winnie...I've hoovered the whole house, dusted & moped the floors. Washing machine is on & still NOTHING!
Baby has def settled down & isn't moving around as much. I've had one thump this morning whilst I was in the bath. This one comes alive at night so I'm not to concerned. Seeing the MW at 2.30...Just to check me over. Consultant a week today if baby still hasn't arrived.
Come on baby sleaf...mummy,daddy & your big sister are all desperate to meet you! :j
I know my sister always has the same problem with the CSA. They hang on to it for as long as possible. They must like the money it's making whilst it's sat in their account for all that time  Very unfair! Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:0
